Instead of using someone's actual sig and avatar, commissioning some to create a caricature of the individual that I'm dressed up as. This is partially motivated by the fact that some of our most beloved personages have little imagination when it comes to their manner of dress (Moldavi, for instance, is much a much more colorful person than his drab avatar would suggest), and partially because many partakers of this tradition seem to be acting as caricatures themselves (which is great fun).
