HM Solomon I
Well, this has been counterproductive lol goodbye, I am gonna talk to NATO about a protector Well, I'm a NATO Councilor (i.e., elected gov), and I can tell you that we do not grant protectorate requests to alliances with fewer than 10 members and certainly not to alliances with just 1 member. Ok, thanks for the heads up Also, so its pretty much a need members to get a protectorate but need a protectorate to get members sort of deal lol
HM Solomon I
Ok, thanks for the heads up Also, so its pretty much a need members to get a protectorate but need a protectorate to get members sort of deal lol No, it's possible to get members without a protectorate. But you need to put the work into getting the members before you go and request a protectorate. Basically, potential protectors want to see that you're at least somewhat capable of building and managing an alliance before they grant a protectorate request. Alex987
I think the only alliance that respects the working man enough to give him a chance with under 10 members is The International. (And I haven't lol'd at an announcement thread that much in a while, you guys couldn't have let it go on for a week at least? Show him how the other side lives?) Varianz
I suggest going to this forum: http://forums.cybernations.net/index.php?/forum/62-black-market/ and getting some tech deals set up so you can grow your nation a bit. I am in no way suggesting you do this so you're big enough for me to raid.

conistonslim
So the best we can do around here is mock an eager albeit nieve new leader to our world, good job gentlemen. BTW Constable, The international is a commie alliance.

BTW Constable, The international is a commie alliance. You are a bit late to the party it seems mate. As for mocking him, I was not actually trying to mock him. Just play a friendly prank with which Constable took no ill with. But nice try looking tough mate. Not really working though.

Beets
Don't listen to these people, they just want you to join an alliance so they can use you as some cheap tech farm. Whatever you do, don't give up your freedom or get involved in "tech trading", since that's just a way that the bourgeois keeps the working-class nations down. Lone wolfing is a totally viable strategy that works better than being some cheap slave for some alliance.
Constable
this is wise advice. its the same one i would say. join an established alliance find out the workings of Bob then go out and make your alliance. It is wise advice but I don't feel that is the option for me, personally. No harm meant to anyone, but I created this thread to help recruit members, gain protectors, and listen to constructive advise on how to run my alliance. Don't do it and join an already established one just doesn't fit those Req. So to those trying too convince me otherwise u r wasting ur time. Too those who are truly helping- Thanks

I agree, sure some alliances are helpful, but I don't think they give enough power to the lower tiers.

Constable
This is a pretty socialist thing to say! No that's a democratic thing too say, socialism makes all equal and gives all power to select few on top (Communist party) I'm saying alliances should keep a hierarchy but giv the lower classes the chance to vote for who is in most seats, and to keep most sovereign rights.
