Tryptamine
That's very sad, he's been one of the most dedicated players. Did he just up and quit without a goodbye? Yeah. Won't respond to PMs or emails, either. I know of at least two other times he's tried to leave the game and been pulled back in. Assume he was trying to make a clean break this time. Choader
I'm sure he had his reasons, but it seems strange that someone interested enough to run the MDP web and be involved with the politics would not do a goodbye thread or let his alliance know. Makes you wonder if he's alright.

Andre27
You'll be seeing another alliance return to the race in the next few days...we're GRowing like nuts. -Drac I checked your stats right now, somehow i expected to see a larger alliance after the merger. Ninja Colt
By the end of the complete merge, GR's projected score will be around 11.72. You guys better build up so you can get into the race, you'll only need about .3 points. Get crackin' GR.
Bob
I checked your stats right now, somehow i expected to see a larger alliance after the merger. Tarikmo
The GR is merging with the OIN and Hyperion right? That's over 1.5 added on to GR's current 11,I see GR 12.5 or so after the merger.
Virillus
In less than a full month, GR will be able to shake hands with NATO on our way by, mark my words.
Epiphanus
I checked your stats right now, somehow i expected to see a larger alliance after the merger. Why? OIN had less than 1 million STR, Hyperion had about 1.1 and GR about 1.3 Altogether the three of them added up to around 3 million NS. I would say we are right about where we should be... Drai
I checked your stats right now, somehow i expected to see a larger alliance after the merger. Were you expecting random large nations to join up into GR or something? We're only about 250k NS away from max potential, and it hasn't even been 24 hours... Only five alliances lost any score, but the majority of gains (and losses, for that matter) were very conservative. When anyone did jump out of the ordinary gains, though, they did so with great aplomb. The details: I guess it makes sense to start with the bad news. Above the Sanction Line, Sparta recovered from yesterday's free-fall with a respectable gain, but, daring to beat them at their own game of losing, sanctioned alliance Fark plummeted nearly half a point. Maybe it was a morale loss as a result of Greenland Republic's image waterfall as they merged yesterday, or maybe it was just their day; either way, they won the contest with flying colors, and no one in Sparta's complaining. In addition to winning (losing?), Fark was the only alliance to lose more than 0.05 score, and took home today's Biggest Loser trophy. Don't try to sand the rust away: the trophy's made of it. In spite of the theme I've chosen for today's update, the larger sanctioned alliances - namely, the New Pacific Order and the Independent Republic of Orange Nations - have decided to end their skyrocketing gains. Their opponents are still moving strongly, however, so perhaps they'll take the competition to heart and continue chugging forward tomorrow. Below the Sanction Line were two alliances that went on massive buying sprees today (or, perhaps they've just gotten new members): Echelon and the Random Insanity Alliance. The Random Insanity Alliance's wiles have propelled them past a grand total of six other alliances, and saved them from the dreadful clutches of the Add Line, but one has to wonder: what drugs was the alliance taking to decisively win the alliance race in the lower ranks of the Sanction Race? An investigation is pending, but alliance leaders have refused to comment. M*A*S*H... watch out. Finally, I wanted to tell NATO that while they may be lonely, there's only room for one alliance at each score level. I don't want to see The Legion hurt you like Invicta did. Perhaps when the Greenland Republic pushes her way up here, you can tango; until then, keep your hands to yourself. Net Gains By Colour Blue (+0.69) Maroon (+0.48) Purple (+0.21) Orange (+0.19) Green (+0.13) Black (+0.11) White (+0.11 Red (+0.04) Aqua (-0.04) Commentary Fark's catastrophic loss kinda killed the day for the Aqua sphere, as they were the only sphere to lose score. Still, the multitude of other Aqua alliances kept the score loss small. Most other colors posted modest gains today (a reflection on the intermediately positive mood of the Sanction Race today; Blue and Maroon won the day on the shoulders of Echelon and Random Insanity Alliance, respectively. -------------------- Related Links: Stats by Unspeakable Evil Lord Sharpe's MDP Web <-- what's going to happen to this?
