Conversely, both the Mostly Harmless Alliance and Sparta lost, but as Sparta's loss was greater, the separation between them widened. The same occurred in the race between the Orange Defense Network and Ragnarok - the Orange Defense Network (inspired by Diomede's challenge?) overtook Ragnarok by just enough to pass them. The New Polar Order underwent an unexpected drop in the Race, and while The Order of Light gained, it wasn't enough to reach them. In other news, the Greenland Republic wins Biggest Gainer with a modest gain; both The Democratic Order and the Mushroom Kingdom fared well. Finally (in today's obligatory Legion reference), The Legion took advantage of Umbrella's apathy to...go the wrong way. OH WELL Finally, shoutouts to bros, diomede, and everyone else who was kind enough to delay the production of tonight's update. Also to #techdeals. Yup.

This was a very boring update, even for all the passes. The Order of Light, despite slowing their advances into the unknown realm of sanction, took hold of a fourth Biggest Gainer; Valhalla took second place with a gain of 0.24. In other news, Ragnarok overtook the Orange Defense Network, until tomorrow, when they'll inevitably give up the position again. It was cute the first thousand times, but it's seriously gotten old. Oh yeah, and The Order of Light made a pass. [/downplaying silly mistakes] Some other alliances in the lower echelon of the Race made weak attempts at passes (the most futile of which coming from Echelon herself - not being able to completely pass United Purple Nations). Also, I fail at updating. Today was that boring. Umm...yeah.

I tell you, you can add alcohol to anything.

I typically follow a certain pattern in my commentaries. Both alliances posted large gains three days ago now (?) the day before they were both fairly inactive in score changes. In all three of those days, MHA gained slightly more than Sparta. So it was a change. Also, I call update.

Still, they have ten more days to wait until they game an in-game flag, and a delicious alliance pip for the forums. Yet, their gains have been large enough, and their passes substantial; I don't expect anything to stop that from happening. I've also kept the lines moving as a result. They jumped significantly today, but the Random Insanity Alliance miraculously avoided their grip for at least one day with a gain. A lot of other alliances made nice jumps as well, jumps that under normal circumstances could merit Biggest Gainer. The Independent Republic of Orange Nations[/color] improved their score; Sparta finally made an improvement on the Mostly Harmless Alliance in the race in which those two alliances have been undertaking. The same seems to be happening just below, as Ragnarok is as of yet unwilling to relinquish their position to the Orange Defense Network, and slightly narrowed the gap between them with a gain of 0.15. The New Polar Order also gained, closing in on The Grämlins; similarly, Valhalla is picking up on the Grand Global Alliance's significant losses. Along with some of the alliances I mentioned above who suffered losses, the Viridian Entente also took a hit. It's their second day with a loss, but today's actually caused a dent of note. Echelon lost a spot to United Purple Nations with a loss of their own. The Greenland Republic is closing in on the group - watch out! Finally, Monos Archein let Nueva Vida approach, down 0.22.
