Hello, and welcome once more to yet another edition of Survivor - the one and only Cybernations competition where we take a bucketload of alliances and compare their fancy little numbers in countless exciting ways!

 

In this season, we'll be harkening back all the way to the fair days of February 2014, when our biggest concern was whether the doorknobs at the hotels actually worked (if you were lucky enough to have a hotel with doors).  32 alliances will compete for medals in 36 different events, with the winner getting bragging rights until such time that they become bored with them.

 

The International Olympic Committee (myself) has replaced seven events from the first edition of these games.  Aircraft, CMs, land, soldiers, tanks, total improvements, and total wonders have been replaced by team tech, team aid, slot ratio, T:I ratio, infra ratio, ANS ratio, and nations ratio.

 

A full schedule (and eventually, results tables) is available at the CN wiki as linked above.  Most events (except for the aid category) will measure your alliance's improvement from the start date for that event.  Most events (except for those marked as ratios) are judged by improvement in absolute numbers instead of percentages.  Most events (except possible for the aid category again) will have ties going to the alliance with less of whatever's being judged.  And most events will hopefully go off without too many logistical errors at my end!

 

I have some explaining to do about the team events (team tech & team aid), but since I've been working on this for most of the day, those explanations will come later.

 

Those alliances who harbor certain unsavoury "multicolored" tendencies are welcome to attend, but are strictly forbidden from spreading their disgusting philosophies amongst our youth.  Any complaints regarding this policy will be met by the military occupation of a gopher-majority ethnic location of our choosing.
