For many, it is now a time of battle, defense and reconstruction. And as always during dark times as well as during bright times, a look back into history, and even a chance to raise the glass in celebration, can alleviate suffering. With that, I hope GPA can bring just a little sunshine on this day. Four years ago today, unlike the other color spheres, Green had no official alliances yet. The Green Protection Agency was founded on February 14th, 2006 after the first Alliance vs Alliance war. This war was the founding influence on the young GPA. After that, the fledgling GPA had to make a choice, either to become actively involved in politics, or to take a different route. And at that point, GPA made a choice that established her place on Planet Bob. It has now been four years, and Neutrality remains our core principle. We have enjoyed periods of prosperity and endured periods of suffering. Members and friends have left the alliance, and sometimes the game. Some of them have returned, others have not. But through all of our experiences, the Green Protection Agency continues to cherish our place on Planet Bob, as well as to cherish all of our friends, whether they are ex-GPA members, friends that we have grown to know, or those that we hope to get to know better.
