Vasíleion tīs Phoebe

Recommended Posts

Once stood a women proud, the moon's Celestial Highness, Phoebe by name, borrowed light such that mankind could watch in envy of her beauty. The light was borrowed from her sister Euryphaess, a jealous cow eyed girl jealous.

Phoebe, ever callous and bold, showed off her beauty to Euryphaess, who grew sad and her light dimmed. Gaia, their mother, saw the problem and had a simple solution. Phoebe would be given a single earthly kingdom. It's accomplishments would illuminate Phoebe. Euryphaess would never have to see her again.

I am chosen by her divine right to lead that Kingdom. I am Basileus, we are Vasíleion tīs Poebe.

The purpose of this treaty to allow The Kingdom to flourish and grow without fear of foreign aggressors or bullies. It is hoped that this treaty will lead to a great friendship where both signatories can safely say the other is their ally.

Each signatory acknowledges that respect, civility and diplomacy shall be their first language and that all problems shall be resolved peacefully where possible.

Should The Legion deem it necessary to partake in any aggressive action against a third party, again The Kingdom is encouraged but not required to join The Legion in such a venture.

Within The Kingdom’s private forums a suitable area will be made available where confidential discussions can be made. This private forum will be viewable by The Kingdom’s Government, Advisors and two selected Legion Government members, or assigned Envoys. Should larger participation be required, both parties may agree to allow more members from either alliance into the discussion chambers.

Article VIII – Reporting of Treaties:

The Kingdom is obliged to report to the Legion all treaties proposed. The Legion must give their consent before any treaty can be passed, and the Legion is free to make any recommendations upon the presented treaty.
