I'm very pleased to be here today,as I am very excited to announce this Declaration of Existence, for the orange sphere's newest alliance: Sinn Fein. Sinn Fein was Founded on January 20th,and since our founding,we have been working very hard through recruiting,handling internal issues,setting up our policies,meeting with other alliances on Planet Bob,and etc. And now,without making you wait nay longer,I would like to introduce the Charter of Sinn Fein: [quote] Charter of Sinn Fein (Cairt dar dáta Sinn Féin) Preamble(Brollach) We free nations, gathered here willingly to form a community of free, independent, and sovereign nations, hereafter known as Sinn Féin, for the purpose of cooperation in diplomacy, friendship, unity, and general welfare of our citizens, wish to guarantee security and prosperity for all our members, in the spirit of fraternity, equality, democracy, peace, and freedom. Sinn Fein Core Values To this end,we establish the following core values,of Sinn Fein: 1.Peace 2.Unity 3.Integrity 4.Friendship 5.Respect Members of Sinn Fein shall always uphold these sacred Core Values, and if found in violation of any be banished from Sinn Fein. Section 1: Sinn Fein Leadership & Duties President: The President is the sole leader of the alliance.The President has complete internal powers.But,has limited foreign powers.Most foreign powers lay within the Dail Eireann (Parliament).The President may appoint and remove ministers and deputies,at his/her sole discretion.The President may decree official alliance policies at anytime,without the approval of the DEL,itself.But must be approved by the alliance in general.The President may not declare war or sign any treaties,without the approval of the DEL or alliance,itself. Term: Lifelong or until Resignation Chief Adjucator: The Chief Adjucator is the 2nd in command.The Chief Adjucator is in charge of the Sinn Fein Ministry. He is the general authority for all non-major issues for each ministry.All major internal issues,must be handled by the President.The Chief Adjucator is also an appointment for life. Term: Lifelong or Resignation Minister of Foreign Relations: The Minister of Foreign Relations is responsible for creating and maintaining friendly relations with other alliances that will benefit Sinn Fein.The MFR is the direct link to other alliances on Cybernations. The Minister of Foreign Relations is responsible for drafting and negotiating any and all treaties with other alliances. The Minister is responsible for appointing diplomats to other alliances,and establishing embassies for diplomats at Sinn Fein. Term: 4 months Minister of Economics & Treasury: The Minister of Economics and Treasury is in sole charge of the finances of Sinn Fein.The MET is in charge of aid,growth,trade and tech programs for Sinn Fein.The MET works accordingly with the Chief Adjucator,and the Minister of Mentoring & Recruiting,to ensure all new members have access to all Sinn Fein programs. Term: 4 months Minister of Mentoring & Recruiting: The Minister of Mentoring and Recruiting is in charge of recruiting for Seinn Fein, and mentoring of all new Sinn Fein Members. Term: 4 months Minister Security & Protection: The Minister of Security & Protection is in charge of all matters in regards to the defense of Sinn Fein.The MSP is in charge of organizing any war effort for the alliance. Term: 4 months Dáil Éireann Leaders: The DEL is comprised of the Chief Adjucator,Minister of Foreign Relations,Minister of Mentoring & Recruiting,Minister of Economics & Treasury,Minister of Security & Protection,and 2 elected members,called Dailans,that will be Parliament (Dail Eireann) Leaders.The Chief Adjucator is the President of the Dail Eireann. The Dailans: The Dailans(Senators) are in charge of the promoting,starting,and ensuring that all members get out and voice their opinions on all Sinn Fein issues.The Dailans are able to start any discussion on any matter,that they think will benefit the alliance,and the membership. Dailan Term: 4 months Section 2:The Dail Eireann: The DEL is the democratic,decision making body of Sinn Fein.All parliamentary issues are handled here.Every member of DEL is a member upon their acceptance to the alliance.The Dail Eireann is the center of the Sinn Fein government. Section 3: Sinn Fein Admittance In order for a nation to join the Sinn Fein Alliance,they must post their application,according to our requirements in the Sinn Fein Application thread, on the Sinn Fein forums. Once the prospective applicant has been approved for membership,the new member must change their Alliance Afilliation to Sinn Fein.And then change their team color to either orange,or green. Section 4:War Section A- Neutrality and Defense Sinn Fein will remain neutral in wars or minor disputes that do not involve us; however, we will defend any attacks on our allies,that impose a threat to their sovereignty. Section B- Rogue Actions Sinn Fein will defend its members from all attacks from rogues, tech-raiders, or attackers. We will provide any necessary help that is at our disposal,at such time of conflict. Section C- Tech Raiding Sinn Fein is a peaceful alliance, as such,we forbid any member of Sinn Fein from tech raiding,for any purpose. If a member is caught violating this policy,they will be expelled! Section D- Nuclear Weapons While Sinn Fein is a peaceful alliance,we recognize the importance of Nuclear Weapons as a deterrent against attacks. Despite this, Nuclear Weapons are not to be used in a first strike against any enemy nation or alliance without the Presidents & Dáil Éireann's approval. Section E- Offensive Wars No member of Sinn Fein may start an offensive war at any time,without the expressed permisssion of the entire Sinn Fein Government. Section F- Defensive Wars All members have the right to defend themselves if attacked.Any member who is attacked,must notfiy the President,and Minister of Security & Protection,immediately.The member must post on the Sinn Fein forums,in accordance to the war template,all actions against said member. Section 5: Basic Sinn Fein Policies 1.Sinn Fein members have the right to freedom of speech. 2.Sinn Fein Members have the right to aid anyone within the alliance,at anytime. 3.Members have a complete say in all alliance matters. 4.Members may vote on any issue that matters to them at anytime during an election period. 5.Sinn Fein members have a right to have their issues or concerns, heard by Sinn Fein officials,and have them considered at all times. 6. Sinn Fein members ay leave the alliance at anytime,as long has they have no outstanding debts or issues. Section 6: Team Color Sinn Fein is predominately an orange sphere alliance,but do to our irish nature,we do allow our members to be on the green sphere.We do not consider ourselves a multi-team alliance. Section 7: Treaties In order to build relationships with other alliances, Sinn Fein shall establish diplomatic ties with other alliances through general diplomacy, embassies and ambassadors, as well as treaties. All treaties must be approved by the Dail Eireann.Once the Dail Eireann has approved via a vote,then the President must sign it,to become valid. As a peaceful alliance,Sinn Fein will only enter treaties that do not under an y circumstances restrict our sovereignty as an alliance. Section 8: Charter Changes Any member nation may propose an amendment to the Charter by submitting it in writing to a member of the Dail Eireann. The proposal must include the current version of the Article to be amended and a text of the proposed amendments. The Sinn Fein membership shall review the proposal and vote upon it.The proposal must pass with a 66% majority vote to become effective. This Charter of Sinn Fein is now in effect,and is the sole law of the alliance.
