ooc: I thought we only had an MDP?

ic: If Scotland or the RSSN request it, Slavorussia’s Navy can easily be deployed to the Atlantic ocean to help slow down or stop the Louisianans from gaining access to Europe.

Scotland has gone out of her way to please Spain and improve bilateral relations. We are disappointed by the Spanish government's decision, but will revoke our diplomats as requested.

Right... you've gone out of your way to please them by violating their sovereign territory? Your arrogance is astounding.

And flying aircraft over their sovereign territory is "going out of your way".

Right.

"Who cares, no offense but this is war. Morality means very little when you are out to defeat your enemy. Sctoland has violated one nation's territory so what. Don't like it then deal with it"

"The point is, they claimed the moral high ground for this war. Then they forfeited it."

OOC: Actually I don't see where he automaticly violated Spain's airspace, he could have easily flown from an angle in Valencia.

IC:

Classified:

All airborne divisions in Finland begin loading up.

OOC: Actually, yes, he did.

OOC: I need some time to organize and such, just got home.

Flying over the Republic of Spain, the aircraft avoided the complication of the high seas that were patrolled by hostile nations.

"As expected, the powder keg goes boom. It goes without saying that the Suez and Straits are closed to all belligerents bar our allies. In addition, we call upon Scotland to respect Spain's sovereignty and not act in ways they themselves condemn. Though, it is nice to see Scotland's true colours."

In order to enforce the closure, two of the CVBGs immediately left port and began to patrol. The third would eventually head out as well, taking the place of one of the currently active CVBGs, so each one of them would be able to "rest" for a little bit between missions.

“Slavorussian naval forces received their orders to deploy to the north Atlantic in support of Scotland, Finland and the RSSN today. This decision may mark a crucial change in Slavorussia‘s foreign policy. The Defense Minister…”

Justinian turns off the television and glares at The Prime Minister and his deputy both of whom are sitting quietly, like two children about to be scolded by their father.

“So does anyone want to explain to me why MY ships are leaving port?” Justinian continues to glare at them but gets no response. After several moments of silence he asks again, “Well, you‘ve done a fine job Mr. Medvedev, but what do you suggest we do if Louisiana tries to run the blockade?”

Again Justinian waits for a response but doesn’t get one. He addresses both men individually calling their names. “Well Dmitry? Vladimir, any suggestions?” Both men look at their tsar, both with the same look on their face, both knowing the outcome.

“oh no, no, no. We’re not going to war. Do you hear me? I don’t care what you do, but you make sure those sailors stay in their homes.” With that said, Justinian storms out of the room, sadly his order would not be executed.

Executive order 0322015

Acting in capacity of the Office of the Prime Minister of the Slavorussian empire, I hereby order all Slavorussian military forces throughout the world (ooc: said for dramatic effect) to elevate to DEFCON 3. The threat of war and the destabilization of Europe by an American nation is a probable reality. Be on alert.

In Slavorussia the army is executing the Prime Minister’s order to perfection. Some forces have to be redeployed to beef up security at crucial sites in the country, but overall the movements are minimal and appear to be routine exercises.

On the seas however half the Baltic fleet was leaving port en route for the North Atlantic to join up with the Dutch navy to block Louisiana’s access to Europe. Aircraft carrier Alexander III the pride of the Baltic fleet leads the naval task force through the Baltic Sea out toward Lubeck and the English Channel and ultimately the Atlantic Ocean.

As they approach the Danish Straits Admiral Aberg radios for permission to lead his ships through to aid the Scots.

Revolutionary Socialist Syndicate of the Netherlands Declaration of War

Recognizing that there is currently existing the Treaty of Brugge, which obligates the Netherlands to assist Scotland in any conflict.

Recognizing that there is currently a conflict involving Scotland.

Recognizing a large state of nubbitude in Iberia.

The Revolutionary Socialist Syndicate of the Netherlands hereby recognizes a State of War between itself and Louisiana.

Thank you and happy days in your respective countries,

Sebastian Saviri, Prime Minister of the Revolutionary Socialist Syndicate of the Netherlands

Magan de Vries, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Revolutionary Socialist Syndicate of the Netherlands

Schee Baum, Minister of War of the Revolutionary Socialist Syndicate of the Netherlands

The Sixth Congressional Assembly of the Revolutionary Socialist Syndicate of the Netherlands

Operation Lose-iana

The Dutch Ships which were blocking the Louisiana Navy from coming near the conflict broke into two separate forces prior to the Declaration of War. Three submarines, four stealth destroyers, and six corvettes moved behind the Louisiana's Naval lines with the intention of intercepting supplies coming through to the Louisiana Navy or meant to go through to the Louisiana base in Iberia. These forces would be vital, and thus the fastest and stealthiest forces were sent behind Louisianan lines to intercept supplies. They had orders to fire on all ships flying a Louisiana flag, and the Corvettes would attempt to intercept all Naval ships that they encountered. Those receiving clearance were non-combatants and ships without armaments on board larger than hand guns.

Meanwhile, the bulk of the Dutch Navy, still across from the Louisiana Navy, opened fire as soon as they were given the order from Amsterdam. 40 Anti-Ship ICBM's launched immediately from the Battleships and Destroyers, aimed for the largest of the Louisiana ships. Total decimation was expected. The submarines remaining launched torpedoes at the larger ships, and smaller missiles fired at the smaller ships in the Louisiana Navy. Orders were to take ships transporting large amounts of troops hostage and capture the men on board as PoW's instead of allowing them all to die at sea. However, missile strikes would be used here if necessary.

From the carriers took off about 100 Naval Attack Aircraft. Being short-range planes with the intention of decimating whatever was left of the Louisiana Navy as well as observing the battle field, they carried numerous missiles, as well as machine guns on either wing. They transferred imaging back to the Navy and this was, in turn, transferred to the Military Control Center in the Netherlands. This was then processed and more attacks were issued as actual Naval Battle began with the remaining Louisiana Naval Forces in the area.

150,000 Dutch Soldiers and 2,000 Dutch Tanks, along with numerous artillery units, are marching across France (we have an MDP), and heading for Valencia to assist with local forces. Command of these forces will be done jointly with Valencia and Scotland, however they will be maintained with Dutch supplies and ultimately their orders will come from home and they will answer to their own General. (Note: I am NOT activating my treaty with France.) The RAF has stationed 150 Fighters and 50 bombers in Valencia to assist the local air forces in combatting enemy forces.

Classified Message to Slavorussia

Your assistance at Sea would be greatly appreciated. The Louisiana Navy currently outnumbers our own, however with the first strike we are hoping to change that statistic. The Slavorussian Navy will be a great asset to have. Thank you.

Classified Message to the Sarnungian Republic

Our fighters will not shoot yours down, despite the fact that we are on opposite sides in this conflict. However, know that dogfights become confusing and all of our planes look the same. Should either of our nations shoot down allied fighters, I propose we give compensation to the family of the victim.

Additionally, we will honor our treaty if someone attacks you who is not currently allied with us.

So Scotland decides it is okay to stomp on the right of a neutral nation? Fine. We support the Rebel Army in their endeavors in keeping the straits barred. Furthermore, we are alerting Scotland and her allies that should they proceed to ignore the rights of Spanish sovereignty, we will respond in kind by violating your sovereignty. What you do, we will do ten-fold. DO NOT test our patience. We had hoped that war would not be the last resolve, but it seems that war is always inevitable when children take the reigns in government.

Admiral Damien L. Bartson had had enough of war. But as he stood on the bridge of the INS Mars, a cruiser with a stellar record in both the Italian Fleet and Pravus Ingruo fleet before it, he knew that war would always find him. Frowning, he scanned the readouts coming in to him.

"Sir, we have OTHR contact with a Valencian fleet. Initial ship count puts them at seven ships, including three carriers." Bartson ran some quick numbers in his head.

"Other signatures?"

"Read four destroyers, sir. We're not close enough to check SONAR to see if there are subs."

"We have to assume there are. Lieutenant, get the sub killers up and running from the Omaha and Sword (OOC: landing ships). Tell them and the Italia (OOC: aircraft carrier) to drop back so we can protect them from those subs. I want all anti-submarine ordinance on high alert. The Rome, Venice, and Genoa (OOC: submarines) move forward first, with a backstop of the Thunderball, Goldfinger, Moonraker, GoldenEye, and Dr. No (OOC: Corvettes). Weapons, give me firing solutions. I want all seven of those ships targeted and I want them out of commission, now."

"Roger that, Admiral." A minute later, the word came up. "Firing solutions locked on and distributed, Admiral."

"Mars, Indomitable (OOC: destroyer), Fortress (OOC: frigate), Katana, Machete, Scythe, Rapier, Shamshir, Gladius (OOC: battleships), give them hell. Weapons free, weapons free!"

The battleships launched seven missiles each, while the Indomitable launched fourteen. Seven missiles also launched from the Mars, putting sixty-three missiles in the air heading towards the Valencian fleet. The Fortress also put four torpedoes in the water, one at each of the carriers and one at one of the frigates.

"White Squadron airborne, Admiral." Bartson involuntarily ducked as Commander Erton zipped his Rampages past the bridge of the Mars. Two other squadrons, Grey and Cyan, followed.

"Give them hell, flyboys."
