In addition to taking photographs of combat environments over Iberia, several passes will consist of the Witness running through an onboard checklist of Stealth detection radar scanning procedures.

The goals of the Witness are simple. Perform proposed techniques by Nod Intelligence for detecting Stealthed aircraft via satellite long-ranged radar in areas of suspected activity.

If a certain technique shows promise, it will be shifted to a new, higher priority list for the technicians back on Nodic soil to develop further, for the defence of NoN Airspace in the future as part of the Omega Imperium Doctrine's DEW Network.

The Tahoan Atlantic Fleet is being mobilized, as are hundreds of thousands of troops in Cuba and Nova Scotia.

The fleet would move into the Gulf of Mexico, where it could easily sit off the small Louisianan coast, able to strike without mercy should the order come.

Euzkadi joins the conflict.

With the outbreak of war the sovereign state of Euzkadi hereby declares war on Louisiana in support of our Iberian pact allies, while we had hoped that diplomacy would end the crisis we have little choice but to honour our obligations as a member of the Iberian pact.

Despite the ongoing war we will respect the neutrality of Spain and neither our Army nor Air Force will violate Spain’s territorial integrity. Let no one accuse Euzkadi of not respecting Spain’s position.

Furthermore we call on the remainder of Europe to show solidarity in resisting this incursion into European affairs by non-European powers and their European collaborators. We are a small country but we are determined to do our part in the greater struggle to defend Europe from outsiders.

All Regular units of the Army are on full alert and in defensive positions to defend our borders, while army reservists have been called up to boost troop numbers. The Reservist units should be ready to take up positions in support of the regulars in the coming week. With the High Command’s desire to not involve Spain we all Army units will remain in a strictly defensive posture.

The Basque navy will take up patrols in the Bay of Biscay to ensure safety of Scottish convoys and to ensure no enemy ships have the run of the area. The Navy will be formed into two active fleets to ensure round the clock presence in the bay of Biscay, while a number of vessels will form a reserve fleet to remain in the port of Bilbao.

OOC: I don't mind if people spot my satellite. There must be dozens in the area.

As for the tracking stealth part, the "Witness" Spectator-class Satellite is supposed to not only be used as a conventional telecommunications/photographic radar, but is also supposed to be part of a network of DEW. This thing is supposed to be geosynchronous over my country and help surface and AWACs radar cover its entirety, with the hopes that such overlapping and interlocking systems will pick something up. My hopes are that eventually i can use all five of these in the future for an SDI when i get it IG.

My Omega Imperium thread tries to explain it under 'Surveillance'. But this thing is going to try some of the procedures it WILL use if and when the NoN is under hostile aerial attack, of course, without the benefit of the surface DEWs and AWACs, it will be less effective, but these posts are really just a sort of build up RP for my DEW network.

Wouldn't your satellites be waaay better than mine? Nevertheless, if we can RP something that would make it feasible for the NoN to aid the Rebel Army, then by all means, yes.

Gob!@#$es, both of them. Fine. Deploy the First Fleet to the north. We want early warning if anyone tries to make a move on the Scottish north coast. Deploy the Second fleet to the south west and have them conduct training exercises in international waters. I want them to keep an eye on the waters south of the Azores with UHARV's. Make sure to keep them out of HAE airspace, please."

An intel soldier at a consol made a snort of amusement. "Mr. President, it looks like Tahoe is setting up. We've got ships moving, and look where they're headed."

DeSchaine looked over the mans shoulder. "Well now, thats interesting. I wonder what their intentions are."

"Yes sir. We also have all the other deployments. Even the Queendom." The soldier looked back at his leader. "Sir, are we going to be getting into this scrap?"

After taking a look at some of the other screens around the room showing different troop, air and ship movements, DeSchaine sat back down and shook his head. "Not directly. The AO where this is happening is too small, and there are a lot of people headed that way already. We do have the Pact to consider, but that applies to matters of defense only, for obligation. We WILL, however, support our allies with material and facilities, should they be needed." He paused and considered a while. "It's a shame that only about 30% of Project Sidhe is done. With the intel we have on the nuclear capabilities of the various nations, I certainly hope we dont eat one." He sighed. "Ok, make the press release."

The Taeunas Navy announced today it's annual training exerceises will be held in an area away from the current conflict. A 'Notice to Mariners' was issued with the area of the Mid Atlantic outlined. The name of this years exercise is Gaelic Craic and will comprise about half the Taeunas navy. Also from the Navy, the annoucement that the last two of four 'Dagda' class Battle Carriers will be launched within the week.

President DeSchaine today declared his non military support for our Scottish neighbors in the current Iberian Crisis. "There is no need for them (Louisiana) to have provoked this. They knew full well what the response would be. It has been this way ever since the America's started laying a heavier hand against colonies, which is as it should be. Should Europe be any different? Scotland and her allies are welcome to use Taeunas facilities if they so choose. However, we will state that Taeunas will not look favorably on an invasion in any other area than the one in question. That is all."

As soon as his declaration was done, President DeSchaine ordered all Taeunas Home Defense Force sections into High Alert status. Flights of Tyre fighters were seen lifting off from bases for BARCAP duty. Several ships from the First Fleet that had been at anchor have begun making preparations to sail. The Foreign Ministry issued a statement extending the territorial waters from five to fifty miles. No military ship that is not allied to Taeunas will be allowed inside this area, except under flags of truce. Non military merchant vessels are subject to search by Taeunas Coastal Patrol and Navy personel.

On the seas however half the Baltic fleet was leaving port en route for the North Atlantic to join up with the Dutch navy to block Louisiana’s access to Europe. Aircraft carrier Alexander III the pride of the Baltic fleet leads the naval task force through the Baltic Sea out toward Lubeck and the English Channel and ultimately the Atlantic Ocean.

And Scotland only issued tha apology after being threatened with overwhelming force. Thier first response to the Spanish protest was to the effect of, "You should be grateful that was all it was."
