Any available space, protectorate or not?

I also need a little walkthrough my first few RPs. This is the sort of thing I like doing, I just wanna get used to how it works here.

Will anyone help me if/once I own something?

Based on the link Sargun posted a while ago, there's protectorates in central North America, Mexico, the Arctic, Antarctica, northern, central and eastern Africa, Russia and central Asia. If you don't like any of these locations, you can ask someone who already owns land if they can cede some of their land to you.

As you can see, I'm editing this request. Please label the Italian peninsula as the Italian Federation, the islands of Sardina and Corsica as the Sicilian League for now (unless/until FSM changes his nation name) and the islands of Sicily and Malta as disputed territory until FSM and Lavo RP their turnover. Transvaal claimed them back in June 2009 but for some reason this was never updated on the maps and subsequent claims have been made on those islands which have been shown on the map. Transvaal "officially" retains its claim over those islands - but unofficially turns a blind eye because we have more pressing needs to focus our attention on.

[b]Crozet Islands[/b] are shown as being part of Transvaal (mis-tagged?) but we have never claimed them. As far as we are aware, no one has claimed them since Wighton occupied Kerguelen Island around a year or so ago - now presently ruled by Greater Pacifica. The Republic of Transvaal would support their annexation by Greater Pacifica if that nation so chose to exercise that right. In our opinion, Crozet should be paired up with whomever rules over Kerguelen.[/color]
