Calling all Crazy People!

DISCLAIMER: This is yet another theory on how to revive our homeland. CN is not dead, it is sick.

It is getting too much now. We need to fix the problem of the decaying game.

As a crazy attention craver, I am willing to sacrifice myself to get the national media on the case of Cyber nations. However we need a controversious topic.

The Nordreich Controversy caused the national media attention and brought life to this game, I am willing to get that life back.

However I need ideas. I was thinking of pulling an Antoine Dodson with a Cybernations shirt on, but I have yet to be robbed, so we can take actions to cause controversy on the internet to do this (Legally). Something like when I was framed in IRC logs of trying to draw pictures of Allah to get the Islamic community mad at Kashmir. I need something like that.

Post your wildest (but achievable) controversy ideas below. We shall survive.

Current Ideas

Inb4 "game is dead and not coming back," You hush your negative mouths.

I do think I am well qualified to do this job, but feel free to invite friends who are crazy attention whores to this thread to help out the cause.

I propose we get the women of CN to agree to serve as escorts. The revenue they raise can be used to keep the game afloat and the inevitable slew of arrests will bring heaps of lonely neckbeards looking for.... well you know

The game is running fine on Dulra and Cuba's donations as well as all the others. Also prostitution arrests aren't all that media savvy. Also we would lose all 8 of the women we have in CN.

Forget that. Whore yourself out.

When I read this I envisioned Rota committing suicide and leaving a note blaming CN.

It's not worth it Rotavele! Don't do it!

Awww :P thank you hun, I am fine though.

EDIT: I have written a inconspicious article which is currently seeing an Editor. The website generally generates a few million users to view their featured articles, and if it works out and such, it will be published in typically a month. It mentions a Cybernations event and mentions Cybernations several times. Along with other events of different games.

There's actually been an increase in player numbers in the past few months. I think it dipped below 10k sometime before last year or earlier this year. Now it is 10,446.

I am aware of that. I do believe admin is also increasing marketing.

Also does anyone know if Al Sharpton knows yet about that war that was caused when some guy called Grub a racial slur?

EDIT: Many of the oldies are coming back too. (Degenerate is back and Bilrow has filed a ban appeal.) We will march on ;D

I actually think thats a great idea both for CN and an article. I guessed where and read it just there your going to want to make it longer and more light-hearted its just a description of what happened at the moment

Also raises the point CN has a long and detailed history for a online game maybe we can find a way to exploit it. There is also the deeper problem that its always been invasions that got this game moving but a new alliance of new players could never even come close to really mattering expect as a tech farm

Ah woohoo :D and yeah at first for the editors they said to only give a summary of it. Thank you for the feedback though. Hopefully if it's published and featured it'll be one of the articles with heavy traffic. I thought it was a pretty unique idea. From my research, no one has done an article in that style on any major websites.

Problem is people don't stick around. 1/2 are too scared to post on the OWF because they are scared of peoples responses. There used to be 20 new topics on the AP section every night. Now I can come back a month later and (mostly) the same topics are still there.

That is because nations don't delete for inactivity anymore..

Does the game count inactive nations as existing? I didn't think it did since they disappear.

That's only been a feature for a month or two anyway, and doesn't explain why we were above 10k for a good while prior.

Yes but a major influx of new people would hopefully work well for the new OWF posters. Also if they are politically active or politically minded, they're most likely to post. That or activists.

If that's the case then we certainly need something.
