Fact: Apparatus came into this war optionally Fact: We informed App BEFORE they stepped in we would not defend SF Fact: Apparatus went in on SF's side anyway... optionally Another Fact: App has known since the beginning of June about our GATO interest and knew our treaty vote started BEFORE the war broke out. A real test of an ally though is to find yourself in something heavy and see how they react. Don't worry HB your far far from being an isolated case in this war, in fact this entire SF/XX front of the war was built apon this very notion of sidestepping an ally and rediverting commitments to guarantee a better outcome. It's just disapointing that your name had to be added to that list. Hell had you at least hit CSN I could of at least written it off as a fued war, but R&R? Seriously? I don't get it man. Worst part is I know a lot of you HB guys are pretty cool, changing sides/allys honestly doesn't bother me, just be honest with yourself, cause if I see GATO taking a hell of a beatdown in a years time and your off signing a new treaty somewhere else at 5 minutes to midnight to pull the ejector seat well I think that will be my mind made up for good. Hopefully this is just a lapse of judgement. Look... all BS (and moaning) aside I hope you and R&R both enjoy a good spirited and fun war. [/quote] In what sense are they "changing" sides though - both Apparatus and GATO have gone in with aggressive action, HB decided they'd prefer to be over here rather than on a suicide charge on NG. They didn't sidestep anything. They don't owe SF/XX anything. I don't get where this entitlement to support comes from, other than apparently some friendships a long time ago? I have been friends with the people in HB since I came to planet Bob. That isn't the intention. It is simply sign of frustration. People I genuinely adore have oAed on other people I genuinely adore, and in doing so left other people I genuinely adore to burn. HB, I don't like you any less for the decisions you have made. Hell, we all make decisions that others don't agree with. I do feel disappointed with the decision. I acknowledge the choice you have made is the choice you feel is best for HB. That doesn't make it an easier pill for your friends on this side to swallow.
