I couldn't possibly care less that the treaty was cancelled; it was best for both our alliances but MI6 would never have done such a thing after going to bat for you this war. Politically untenable locally, shall we say; my membership thought the world of you guys until three days ago. And it's posts like these that make me sorry to have defended you to them in the first place. I thought Yeru's post was low and baseless against the rest of your ex-allies, so I interjected myself into the discussion. Nothing personal whatsoever; I found the sentiment remarkably distasteful and unfitting to the quality I believe of Yeru as a leader, so I had something to say about it.

By all means, make sure you include MI6, who went to absolute hell and back to defend you, in your current evisceration of those who considered you allies, Yeru. We'd all be greatly amused. To see it come to this from you is sad indeed.

If you'd quit talking about us so damn much, old friend, our name might not come up so often in every discussion. MI6's propensity for talkativeness and nonsense has been greatly diminished over the past few months, yet you insist on the same tired talking points. Nobody in MI6 wants to be anything other than MI6. We are paying the price of our and our allies' lack of political foresight, and that's perfectly fine - it's how Bob works, after all.

The vast majority of people in this thread talking about MI6's damage stats haven't been MI6, until we were accused of doing something ludicrously dumb to pad those stats. We're in here to defend ourselves against a false claim, not to beat our chest. We've still got a lot of fighting left to do before we'll worry about that.

I'm aware of one nation doing it once - and I promptly yelled at him for doing so, and it hasn't been done again. You can ask Dhruv, he'd admit to doing it one day maybe two weeks ago or so. So you can add that 3k NS of infra to our opponents' damage total, if you'd like. Nobody else is doing it. We buy up to 1k infra to rebuy nukes when knocked below it, like anyone else. We cycle PM, like anyone else. We won't have 100% military participation in this war - hell, we're missing some of our bigs guys or really good ratios/notoriously good fighters from combat because using them doesn't make sense after their last major engagement. We've got a couple bad eggs (Hello, Goose's -50k damage ratio!) and one particularly glaring inactive. Other than that, my guys came to fight. Proud of 'em, especially since we did *just* have another war. Anyone accusing us of blowing an extra hundreds of millions of rebuilding money across our alliance as a whole to pad our damn war stats is either intentionally deceiving people in an attempt to discredit our war performance (and I'll admit, it doesn't fit with the the MI6 is Terrible and Chim is Evil plot line everyone wants to reference) or is an absolute fool.

So, I've seen quite a few people return from inactivity mode in bill lock or having to pay massive amounts of money to reactivate their nation after a year or more of bills have piled up. Then today, I look on the inactivity mode page and see this: Bills will be adjusted to omit the days that your nation was inactive. (You won't be charged for the days that you are inactive) So...is inactivity mode working properly? The implication from that line is that, say you're inactive for 365 days and hadn't paid bills for the 30 days previously, you still only owe those 30 days of bills. But the way it is working in practice is that you have to pay far more than that. I've seen nations quite literally lose two billion from this, and my question is whether that line is incorrect, written poorly, or the feature isn't working as intended. For instance, my friend Moufassa http://www.cybernations.net/nation_drill_display.asp?Nation_ID=509821 recently returned to CN. He has 107 days of bills to pay, but was inactive for nearly double that. Can someone explain exactly how inactivity mode calculates bills?

There is little doubt that this policy, designed to look and sound neutral, is in reality the direct opposite. One of Valhalla's allies in particular, only at war with other Valhalla allies (intentionally, no doubt, to keep Valhalla on the sidelines), now has no potential for any military support whatsoever. It's just disappointing.
