1. I want chels back. Until then I refuse to acknowledge TLR is run by Sykes. Or at least until he contacts me apologizing for stealing her. Or until she decides to quit. Or until I decide to not give a $%&@ anymore. Either way, congratulations to the rest of the TLR government. :v
2. Anathema isn't even worth being on that list. I do miss GOLD though and the original ICP, ICP alumni 2006/2007! The original Nordreich doesn't deserve to be on that list, it was a !@#$ alliance with terrible leaders, even for its day. Magnus and Martens come to mind.
3. I vote the drunk guy from May 5th.
4. TGE lost 0.25 and doesn't appear to be doing too well at 120. Is that alliance /ever/ going to get more than 40 members and get a higher score/NS?
5.
The LSF has existed continuously for 6 years despite the best efforts of the previous incarnation of your alliance and the abomination that was NoV. In contrast much of the world united to end NoR 1 and you're only back because you promised to be good boys and girls, and you call us silly?
Nordreich in its first incarnation was brought down by internal drama. I think you meant Norden Verein? Nordreich Disbandment Announcement - as posted by yours truly on 2 May, 2007.
6. lol. There has been far worse done in the history of alliances here. I'd argue that the Maroon War was far more interesting and important than the war against LSF ever was. Also, I enjoyed both of those wars. Just sayin' Congratulations on existing for 6 years though.
7. I assume you are using an iPhone, yes? It occasionally happens as it happens on computers as well. It usually goes away when you try to post again or login again.
8. Good luck Roquentin. It's one of the only channels I actually have on my ajoin anymore.
9. You should join Paraguas, or maybe Umbrella.
10.
Go away, you're scum
I know, right.
11. I like you Lurunin, but anything below an MDoAP is a waste of time unless it's a NAP post-war. I mean... really? An oDoAP? Why don't you just agree to defend each other if you feel like it. Geesh. Oh, people will say that's what this is....
12. So I am reading (OP) this as saying: "Unless we approve of you sending us money for technology in return, you shall receive no return payment of said standard technology units. Too bad for you." Well, nothing at all could possibly go wrong with this policy at all.
13. Signed for GOONS: Cuba Signed for Non Grata: Cuba Now it's official. :v
14. Despite my occasional disagreements with Xiphosis, I do congratulate your alliance on existing for five years.
15. It (OP) was well written but as always, it will change nothing. The status quo is the status quo.
16.
SF had the member who chose allies over the bloc leave, Mjolnir just disbanded instead, lucky for you it wasn't RoK this time around.
Things are not as simple as you like to believe.
My point wasnt that Superfriends singlehandedly disbanded Mjolnir, my point was that we're still here, you arent. NoR wanting to be besties with MK, with RoK/Val in MK's sights might have had slightly more to do with the disbandment.
The Nordreich-Mushroom Kingdom relationship is a strategic relationship, I like how you perceive things however. When was Ragnarok and Valhalla in the end aims of Mushroom Kingdom? Do you have information that nobody else has? Has Archon been having dinner with you?
Wasn't saying right this second, but disbanding Mj made those two in particular(RoK especially considering their current FA problems) not at all allied in any way to you or your allies, no? edit: I *do* remember this game while in Q government, you have to find a target every so often or your membership gets bored, when you run out of targets, make new ones, even if you have to make your allies sacrifice friends, or even kill your former allies, (CIS comes to mind)
The dissolution of the bloc had little to do with Ragnarok's ongoing and prior internal issues. Their ties are inconsequential as a result -- whether it freed up points of contention is up for interpretation. All alliances that are not exclusively tree hugging alliances and have an external front, desire some sort of war or intrigue. Why this must calculate into everything that is done is beyond me.
so NoR goes neutral instead of having to ignore a bloc treaty, doesnt change my argument much, but I enjoy the "attack the poster, don't deny that NoR chose MK over Mjolnir" line of debate.
How did Nordreich choose Mushroom Kingdom over their bloc? Where is your information coming from? You can continue to ignore me but I'll continue to poke you with a stick. As well, you think Nordreich is a neutral alliance or you think Nordreich is adopting a neutral stance? Are you aware that Nordreich is anything but a neutral alliance?
17. So... Nordreich, TGay and now Austrian Empire... well... where's the Polish Empire at?
18.
Lol, what amazes me is that Omni appears to be popular lol Thanks
Omni to me is like a.... nicer FC? Well, FC is pretty nice already, but Omni is cooler. :v
19. For the love of Satan, is there no tl;dr available?
20. I expected something regarding the other Omni.
21.
you seem to be implying that the strategy of screwing up your intended war plan didnt work out to be more beneficial than blindly launching everyone at IRON/TOP for our side, and that your coalition didn't have infighting as well, last I checked Mjolnir won their battle against SF, but let us win the proverbial war. (plus having literally 2/3rds of the coalition you're a part of wanting to kill off half your bloc probably doesn't work out too well.)

adjective 1. of, pertaining to, or characteristic of a proverb: proverbial brevity. 2. expressed in a proverb or proverbs: proverbial wisdom. 3. of the nature of or resembling a proverb: proverbial sayings. 4. having been made the subject of a proverb: the proverbial barn door which is closed too late. 5. having become an object of common mention or reference: your proverbial inability to get anywhere on time.
Which of those five examples are you applying this to? I am assuming you are meaning: MJ won the battle against SF, but we won the war. As in: By fighting us, they sowed discontent within their ranks, and while we did indeed lose, we won by their dissolution, effectively. They opened the door and it was too late to close it. That'd be some mighty fine psychological warfare, if it were true. But alas, it isn't really. Though, explain how SF won the war against MJ when the issues within MJ had nothing to do with SF? You are taking credit where credit isn't to be taken. But that is your method of feeling better, I suppose.
I think it's more our world's collective morality frowning upon any kind of aggressive action. The only way to not get rolled is to do nothing. It's a smart strategy, but extremely boring. Neutrals are great for the reason that they are honest with themselves, unlike so many alliances who act like the GPA, while claiming to be a fighting alliance. Alliances like NpO/Sparta come to mind who've used mass long-term peace mode as a "tactic". Also the other huge reason is the stagnation of this world's evolution. Nothing ever changes on our great Planet Bob anymore if you get my drift.
Neutrals are just a place for people to go that have no interest in participating in anything or where they go to peacefully build. Meanwhile, missing the true reason for the existence of the world to begin with. But, people can choose to sail how they wish. Like it or not though, peace mode is a legitimate tactic when used as a reserve force that intends to come out and fight later on. 'Intends' being the operative.
22. It's not that people are too timid or whatever... it's because a good lot of alliances keep electing/allowing the same idiots time and time again and they're too worried about losing NS that'd cause them to lose elections or have them removed. It really has little to do with getting along with one another because quite frankly, that's horse !@#$. Alliances get on quite well when they have a mutual dislike of a target. Anyone whom has run FA or an alliance and has brain cells powerful enough to get past stupid mundane things can do and indeed see this. Provide a mutual target, add hatred, add tolerance of coalition partners = success. What happens afterwards is irrelevant so long as the mutual target is gone or reduced to infancy. Then commence the usual posturing and backstabbing that is a staple here, add new enemy here.
23. NpO will no doubt rebound quite nicely. They've got EaTeMuP afterall, and he's rather nifty with economics. At least as far as I know he still runs that. How many more days does The Legion have to hold onto their growth and statistics to officially grab the sanction?
