Clearly they are. When people start putting up sigs meant to insult their enemies, sit around at update pressing f5 and enter into peace mode en-mass I think it's fairly safe to say that people expect a war.

I imagine people are just worked up over all the war and gore rumors floating around and are looking for a scapegoat to vent on. Besides, no one who has ridiculed TAO is (to my knowledge) in a leadership position, so it's not like their opinions even matter. Nonetheless, it's nice to see you taking a stand for your protectorate.

In this instance they can basically be used interchangeably. Given half the chance, Vox wouldn't act any different than NPO if they had the option to use the sword rather than the pen, especially considering many of Vox's members have been fundamental in forming the oh-so-hateful practices of the present day that Vox goes out of its way to tell people it despises and needs to come to an end.

Well that's nice, but the same culture of arrogance is apparent just as much as it is in Pacifica. The only real difference is that Vox has nowhere near the power of Pacifica so while that might give Vox more freedom with your words, it's still the same old propoganda- just a bit more to the point.

It's hardly suprising, considering where most of Vox's members (publicly known anyways) come from. Once a Pacifican, always a Pacifican.

Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing FAN given peace, so that one day I could go to the OWF and read how Otto the Terrible (I think that was his name?), diktor, (I know I got this name wrong but he had a baby avy, boasted hitting the land max first and I'm pretty sure left FAN at some point for MK) mpol and all the other FAN members were getting into shenanigans. It made for fun times and FAN certainly brought this game to life when it was around, but now all I see is a crippled, bitter alliance and I honestly don't know that there can ever be a time where I see FAN members flooding these forums and insulting the alliances they just smashed (Legion sigs anyone?) and generally making CN a more fun place to be. Call me nostalgic, but those were much more interesting times and I wouldn't mind having even just a little bit of that back. I also know that the NPO won't give a flying hoot about this topic and that voicing my opposition won't affect any change on that level, but at least someone in FAN might hear that we haven't quite given up hope for them. Despite the fact that this my signature will be to no avail, I'll sign it.

Why not? Maybe I don't particularly like the person being spied upon and feel like a war. Or maybe if I don't stick up for my bud, my own position on Digiterra would be in jeopardy. There's many circumstances where alliances should defend their mates, even if they spied on someone.
