This is, in all likelihood, my end as a person of any power in GATO since I resigned about 10 minutes ago owing to inactivity. I was unaware this leak/cancellation had even happened, which probably suggests that it's time to step aside. It's a bit sad that conjecture from one group of people ("allies") is accepted above the sweaty defending of the guys I prefer, but I guess that's the balance of power when material is selectively leaked. LSF clearly huffed a lot of paint at some point but I'd have happily stood behind Int (and offered/made no deals of any kind) at the time of that. I would have stood behind Int, at that time or after, while making whatever opinion I had perfectly clear to them at the same time. As someone who wasted quite a few hours preparing for that eventuality, I find it a bit distasteful to question otherwise. Disrespectful to my deceased time. We now sit at an awkward point where LSF have done another stupid thing. while a number of interested parties pick at the remains to make a point about how clever they are, many of them having been previously been discredited for being mentally lacking or one-trick ponies. Feels like a circus in which today we are the loser clown getting the pie in the face from the clown who got the pie in the face last week, who laughs like it's never going to end. Anyhoo, have fun. My remaining advice is honestly to engage critical faculties more often.
