1.
Anyone want to guess what bloc isn't attacking alliances who their allies are treatied to? I'll give you a hint. It rhymes with Shmuperfriends.
As if you've had the luxury, there were only two SF alliances that didn't get forced to fight anyway, and one entered before anyone else was in. So... well done GOD?
 2.
You are clearly confused. LoSS was offered peace with a no re-entry clause very early on. They were not 'held hostage'. I can understand they didn't want to leave DT on the battlefield, but they had a clear and clean way out of the war the entire time. As for DT, I felt wronged by their ODP activation. At the time they declared we'd already been having peace talks with LoSS, and they declared on Legacy who I cared for deeply at the time. I felt that they were out of line with what they did. At the time, I was in a position to do something about it. I likely overreacted and now CSN is one of the more hated alliances.
The way in which DT entered meant that their fate was pretty inseparable from LoSS, as while they'd be exempt from the reps, it did mean they'd be getting steadily more piled on throughout the war while you tried to extract the reps. In that sense, they were held to ransom.
As for us (CSN) trying to draw NoR out, that is patently false. Would it have been nice if they'd reneged on their peace treaty and re-entered against us, sure. I didn't like the first NoR for how they tried to 'run' Maroon, and I carried my dislike forward to their resurrected form. I figured they would keep their word and stay out. I do recall catching some heat in that for some reason NoR couldn't declare on NPO while we were still at war with DT, but I didn't pay much attention to it, as it didn't make sense.
How did that not make any sense?
Either way, the alliances that CSN has actually wronged (namely DT and by extension LoSS), have had their pound of flesh and gotten over it. I can't say we're best of friends, but at least DT isn't foaming at the mouth like some of the vocal GATO members that weren't really involved in it.
As I said - they're far more entitled to feel upset about it than we are, and they've done something about that for the most part, but it did give myself and some others a much needed boot up the ass. I didn't like what happened, or the fact it could have happened at all, and I've wanted to see those who'd pull that kind of stunt take a dive since. So days like this are good by my book, very good indeed
 3.
Your'e acting as if LoSS and us were helpless, which is funny. Thats was one of the most interesting wars I've had and I'm sure members of LoSS would agree. I'm not trying to sway or deflect your reasoning for disliking GOD, for all means go right ahead. I just don't see you wouldn't jump on the band wagon last war?
I'm not saying you were helpless, sorry to phrase it in that way; you guys did incredibly well in some pretty tight circumstances, and I think that probably pushed them to make their demands even more ridiculous at the time iirc, at least for a while. There were obvious political reasons for what they did, and that didn't sit right with us, considering everything had been friendly enough on our front until then. It was a car crash to watch from afar and a reason to try and up the game GATO was playing, both politically and in terms of standards.
 4.
I think it might be more accurate just to say there's still bad blood following the GATO/CSN split and it's popular to hate GOD at this point in time; the worst I've heard from GATO about GOD is that they were a bad influence on CSN. I'd be surprised if it was more than just holding a grudge because it's convenient.
Not at all - I don't think an ages old split has much do to do with it. The hostage taking of LoSS and DT as a means of drawing NoR out has gone down in our memory as the first time someone actively screwed with us after the Viceroy ended. We befriended The Brain, who came with their own baggage of hate. I suppose we consider GOD to have been a "bad influence" in the sense that it was them puppeteering all the way through. We don't even have half the grievance LoSS and DT do, but it's nice to have a goal to drive yourself forward every day, y'know? At the time, Xiph and his crew were pretty untouchable, so maybe we'll feel a bit more comfortable with closing that chapter after this, because honestly I'm impressed we got here in the first place.
 5.
No I mean that honestly, enjoy your beautiful friendship
But you didn't clarify!
 6.
Unlike GATO we don't just bail and abandon an ally to be devoured by wolves when they make a mistake.
Also, since when was a 40k hostage demand a "mistake" that left CSN and GOD to the wolves? No wonder this thread is such a joke and we are doing this again mere months late.
 7.
Also GATO you and the Brain deserve each other, you both have the exact same opinions about what allies are for.
Laffo, what might those be? Gimme your best tears.
 8.
Instead of helping us convince CSN to drop the reps demand for DT you instead made your own peace deal, posted a big "F U Maroon" and left for Black.
Man, good job everything since then proved them wrong eh?! Oh? Wait... Oh, this is awkward.
 9.
So then why aren't you fighting with them?
With regret, I am occupied, but maybe later
Way to leak there
tbh with the amazing bounty on offer, if I can get done with R&R early enough, maybe I'll pretend to be orange for a while! No leak there, just personal envy getting the better of me.
 10.
Recent events have made the members of MCXA aware that specific alliances wish to ruin this world and drag the rest of us down with it. Because we at MCXA believe everyone on planet bob should be able to have nice things and this seems to be contrary to the views and beliefs of the fine people over at ODN.
You're why we can't have nice things ODN! You alone! In all seriousness, I love this coalition of Bob's biggest losers that's piled onto ODN, it's really cute. And it's going to be fantastic fun to smash through.
 11. I love that Xiphosis is happy to start criticising people for puppeteering wars with little value other than blind tactical malice when he begins to feel the burning at his feet. In the end, you're going down both a hypocrite and a failure; it couldn't happen to a nicer alliance.
 12. I think this is the worst DoW I've ever seen.
 13. The war on terror continues! Good job the security council cooperated.
 14.
I think you might need a bit of a reality check of how democracies tend to work...
Come back hombre, there's fighting afoot. Don't be boring and miss out!
 15.
I'm saying that if attack an alliance that was uninvolved was more profitable they would have done it, but since attack GOD would trigger the VE treaty all of you are ignoring them despise all the GOD's hate.
Even if this is true, what exactly is the problem with that?
 16.
You properly forgot to mention that last war they also not honored a treaty too, so as you can see ODN is still the same alliance.
Obvious troll, try harder.
 17. While you've been gone MK & CO have become rather more liberal with how they deal with coalition warfare. They no longer wait for counters or only hit people that activate certain treatys. They just cherry pick AA's to hit that suit their plans and they bring in people from their side to best suit regardless of treatys as well. This is why the map above is disjoined and unconnected cause in the old days people would of considered this several small independent wars with independent CB's etc. Welcome to where we got to while you've been gone. lol In the past, there would be a bunch of ghost declarations, but the end result would be achieved anyway. Why maintain such a pointless system?
 18.
King Death II, You are, without doubt, the biggest !@#$% ass leader...
irony abound
 19.
Our observations of your allies behavior doesn't really qualify as expertise, but I'll take that
You went to great lengths to mask this "NO U" but somehow it still shines through.
 20. Grammar failure in propaganda = automatic 0/10
 21.
We know you'll only be at war for another 2 weeks.
Does this get old when it's merely 2 years gone, instead of 1 1/2? "Hey, NPO! Remember when we kinda beat you 6 years ago? Now THAT'S a sick burn bro. "
 22. Form an orderly line, Sparta! There's enough room in the sewer for everyone.
 23. HB have been great fun to get to know, and the result of politicking is pointless unless you like the people you choose to be close to. So, happy with this treaty
