1.
"Everyone is acceptable collateral damage as long as we keep our stats"- The GATO way ladies and gentlemen.
As ever Omni, we have no interest in continuing your obsession. Leave it be and move on.
2.
So you'll attacking, but pulling out after a few days?
We could have an argument over several pages about this, but I really don't want to distract from a much more interesting topic. Know when to leave something be. As for the topic at hand: What a disproportionate mess, that's in part of Nordreich's making. LSF behaved stupidly, recklessly, but this entire alliance declaration is ridiculous, inflammatory and unnecessary. All of that time Nordreich spent distancing itself from the past was readily flushed when the opportunity arose, at the most basic of baits.
3. Best of luck, LSF, wrong in action, but very much right in spirit. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wyjNRmSPVMM
4.
There will be no split I can assure you of that if the scenario you outlined comes to pass. CnG will always roll together no matter what.
Amen, we can end that line of speculation quite happily I think
5. Just a thought but it MAY be the one that The Brain left on uncertain terms?
6.
I can understand that TLR would support its treaty partner in MK despite the fabricated CB. But it is unfortunate that the non-MK aligned elements in C&G become enablers of MK by extension, despite denials to the contrary.
God forbid we "enable" something that is excellent news.
7. Oh well, we're pretty much there now in regards to whodunnit. Expect to see a boot in an ass imminently regarding bad behaviour.
8. Whoever it was, it'd be real swell if you let us know
9.
I'm not sure how morons like yourself and Myth got the arrogance to actually believe that you're even on the same plane of existence as me, tbh.
Well, huffing paint is a good way to start.
10. Thanks for your commitment to centralising the bad players and people list, Bal Masque.
11.
No, actually, he isn't.
De ja vu.
12. CNwiki is most useful for me in identifying nobody alliances. I can generally remember most treaties of alliances above a certain size, but cnwiki fills a valuable gap if people are simply too small to really have lodged in my memory. The big alliance pages are clunky though, and maybe some consultation with alliances would be good as to how they want their page to look?
13.
If people stopped to post about how this incident is irrelevant and was blew out of proportion, we could have less pages, so as you can see, you're not helping your own cause.
Fair, particularly since I made you start the anti-anti-anti-Tetris sentiment
14. The number of people working themselves up into hysterics because they smell blood is laughable, have a sense of proportion or consistency please. Not to say that the initial announcement wasn't a bit crap, but too much had said about this matter after 3 pages, let alone 12 of ever increasing hand flailing.
15. To be honest, it's so long ago now that it scarcely matters, in terms of build we're basically a different alliance. At the time we had far far less people above 100k, and we were pretty clumped up at a far lower range. As for ghosting, we shaved a lot down pre-war with MHA, but it builds up again while we did the post-war rebuild. It's a cyclical thing, because committing active guys to chasing them off in turn slows down other aspects of the alliance. We'll probably drop about 30 members over the next few weeks, someone will nearly start a war and we'll be back here again a few months later Can that be the final word on this though? How did we even get here? Anyway; congratulations on still being alive, bizarro TLR.
16. Hm, thought this treaty already existed. Congrats I guess!
17. I think lebubu has probably made the best point. Nobody, or at least not enough of the population, has really been treated badly enough to drive the political necessity of building up "now-or-never" opposition for a while. People have at times been treated badly, but not in sufficient quantity, and not badly enough. Ambition as a result is lacking in the people that could, if really committed to that, take the risks to change things around. As things are, risk is low for everyone, so why shake things up? Particularly as I feel the game-history punishes people who prove incapable of functioning in a team without trying to hijack the show, or subvert the expectations of their coalition. Aside from some notable irrational individuals, I think most leaders now tend to make a judgment as to the worth of stirring up trouble... and decide that they're better suited to playing a long game of trying to isolate a small disliked section of their coalition while maintaining the same picture overall.
