  1. o/ Subaru Sad to see you go, but at least you'll still be stuck being allied to us in a different alliance. Couldn't stand not having you around at all.
  2. Invicta has 70 members, looking in game. It seems fairly plausible that about half or more of their votes in Red senate came from NPO votes, which probably will not be tagging along to Purple.
  3. Important question: Is this war going to be all about them Imperial Decrees and Declarations?
  4. Huh? As far as I'm aware, this topic is currently about berbers decrying Umbrella for... Some shifting reason which seems to boil down to just not liking them. That he proclaims that he's doing this as a noble gesture to warn us doesn't really make the discussion about us. I think most of us try to stay out of this kind of fight on the OWF -- it never really leads anywhere useful.
  5. The amount of off-topic butthurt by MI6 in this thread is rather amusing. We get it, you're still upset that your sorry little alliance got what was coming for it, but no amount of crying about how terrible everyone else is will bring the past back for you. Suck it up and start doing something useful instead of whining.
  6. I happen to like both NATO and IRON, so I should hail this. On the other hand, we are in the USSR, as a Red alliance. This may get complicated. o/
  7. I am terribly sorry to all those promoted. And also slightly afraid of having to serve under these people. Also, Hail the Emperor! Hail the Order!
  8. Is anyone honestly surprised that Schattenmann conveniently conflates people with the alliances they are in, and alliances with their allies, all the while accusing others of being slippery? The pretence that this is anything but a petty personal grudge looking for whatever excuse it can find to perpetuate itself is growing really thin, mate.
  9. I, for one, don't understand why people bother to talk with TPF. They weren't a rational political actor for at least a year before this, and they certainly are even less so now. No amount of talking will have any effect, other than possibly causing annoyance and confusion. I'm also not certain why some members of TPF continue to post half-lies and spin if they sincerely intend to end their presence here. Surely it is entirely pointless for them to do so? Or perhaps they aren't being entirely honest in that rhetoric of not caring, either...
  10. Yes, SNX's numbers really are what jumps out at me from that table. Good job.
  11. I thought it was well known that the Orders were the natural enemy of the Orders. Damn Orders, they ruined the Orders...
  12. >Cavalry of Elite Omega Ninjas I'm not sure what it means, but it sounds cool.
  13. I'm downloading the stats files almost daily either way, so I could help out, I guess. I don't have the time to write a script to prettify the output, though. Perhaps later.
  14. I, for one, find this thread very confusing. Are we an awful hegemony for recklessly picking unnecessary fights with everyone we can hit, or are we an awful hegemony for being too cowardly to recklessly pick unnecessary fights?
  15. You're impressively good at completely avoiding the things people say to you, and instead ranting and raving about... a bunch of random stuff. If you were a bit less incoherent, you might even manage to derail the thread with that tactic.
  16. I don't think anyone has claimed that this thread wasn't the reason we realized that Mi wanted peace. However, we would have given them peace even if they'd found a less dramatic way to express their wish for it, so the thread wasn't the actual cause of the peace in the sense you're implying. But hey, nice spin.
  17. The idea that we were "compelled" into giving them peace still assumes that we wanted to not give them peace. You're literally saying that we should have wanted to not give them peace. You can't both try to call us out for giving them peace and pretend like you aren't telling us to keep them at war. You can't both have your cake and eat it, it makes you look very silly.
  18. So, in summary, SPaTR worked as they usually do -- confusedly and without any coordination whatsoever. You then accidentally got yourselves into a position of demanding peace for an ally which wasn't even wanting it, while simultaneously not really officially demanding it. When this mess reaches the OWF, the inability of anyone to read bones's mind (if indeed there is anything but confusion in there to read) led to it being interpreted as Mi wanting to surrender, which no one had any problem with, so a peace was signed. Now the pro-MI6 side of the OWF has no more reason to pretend to support Mi, so they are calling for us to have beaten Mi some more. As expected, they prioritise cheap shots on the OWF over common decency and the good of their own. I expect SPaTR are also very annoyed that they lost their excuse for attacking us. I guess they'll have to find some other technicality to attack us over to fill that void in their Planet Bob experience.
  19. I find it interesting how the people who were ostensibly on Mi's side are now calling for us to have refused them peace when they asked for it. Could you be more transparently using them for your own purposes?
  20. Sure there are reasons to keep someone you were attacked by at war, such as to demonstrate that it is costly to do so, and to dissuade future hit-and-run type attacks. Another might be to demonstrate the ability to keep the war going, or some interest in hurting the opponent more. These are perfectly good reasons for e.g. MI6 to continue fighting us. I think you'll agree that none of those reasons really apply to us peacing MI. I don't think anyone was ever in doubt about how this war would transpire.
  21. We'd have let them surrender either way, you know. Beating on a micro for no good reason is just pointless. I do get why you'd want us to fight needless wars, though.
  22. Does Monsters Inc. even want to peace out? I haven't seen them state as much.
  23. Mogar, quit hogging the viceroyships. You old ones need to retire to let a new, younger generation of viceroys start their careers.
