I think Walsh's idea makes more since. I wouldn't "spread out" the votes -- there's still only 3 options. 1. Something involving the word "Disorder" 2, Something involving }Order on/upon/vs. Order" 3. Something involving "Following Orders" Once the category is selected, people can then vote on specifics. For example, if 1 polled highest, the next poll would be: 1. Order Upon Order 2. Order On Order 3. Order on Order on Order I'd like GW# for continuity's sake, but it seems hard to justify since we didn't stick with the GW# formula for previous large scale wars. I like Disorder, Following Orders, and OoO/OuO. I will say, though, that OoO sounds better to say while OuO looks better. Both the OoO and OuO options sound less than ideal when spoken in a sentence. Note how LAME all of these sound: "Remember during the Order on Order War how we...?" "You know who really sucked it up during Order upon Order?" "We kicked some major tail during Order on Order." "My favorite thing about the Order upon Order War was that..."

These stats are pretty great, but, Ogaden, would you mind putting a column for damage ratios on the "alliance" tab?

Naysayers be darned (with ugly Christmas sweaters), this is indubitably an honorable move by TPF. I don't make a habit of hailing non-allied alliances, and I don't have much sympathy for their chosen side, BUT... o/ TPF It's just nice to see an alliance do the right thing, especially if it's going to hurt more than the alternative.

Well, this complicates things. I do wish LoSS godspeed, though I don't condone the actions that have led them here. Honestly, I'm not too surprised to see this coming from VE, but I'd have hoped to not see LoSS doing something like this. There are few things in this realm that cannot be taken from you -- integrity is among them. I hate to see it wasted. I'll echo others in saying that I hope this treaty was indeed in the works prewar, not that it makes a significant difference. Anyway, I'll take the opportunity to remind everyone that LoSS is an ally of DT. I'm feeling a bit like I imagine NG was feeling during the opening stages of the Eq War...

Thanks for the due diligence and setting the record straight. I actually didn't remember seeing any sort of protection for CIN, but was just facetiously throwing out a CB option for the war now already currently underway. It was a two-pronged joke about unfounded CBs and the poorly-kept secret of the then-impending war.

This is a nicely constructed DoW by NpO. I mean, quoting the attacked as plotting against you AND saying CBs are irrelevant -- that's some pretty incriminating stuff right there. People will disagree or whatever, but as with Ai's attack on Umb, it seems justifiable to me. Of course many a person will post suggesting the true reason for war is this or that, but, as an uninvolved party, I'm inclined to view the reason given as sufficient even if it's not the entire motive behind this war, as is likely the case. I mean, could this war have been averted? Sure, but who wants that? Lulz. Anyway, hopefully everyone can have fun and keep the butthurt to a minimum!
