1. Merry Christmas to you and yours as well.
2. I wasn't hit with any attacks on the 30th until well after this issue.
3. I did buy soldiers, as well as deployed and launched offensive ground battles. I'm fairly certain that I didn't overdeploy and self anarchy.
4. The last nuke I ate was on the 27th, meaning I should be able to switch out of anarchy today (11/30). My government was spied on the 28th, however I collected today prior to attempting to switch out of anarchy, so that shouldn't be the issue. I also have yet to be hit with any defeat alerts the past couple days, so I'm really not sure what the problem is.
5. Normally I'd agree, but he was nuked shortly after update on the 15th, so it wouldn't have been a before and after update defeat alert. I know sometimes when I'm on my phone doing attacks it submits things twice. It's never happened for a nuke attack/defeat alert, but it's happened when I attempted to send a 2nd air attack and it says I've already sent 2. I check my outbox and sure enough there are 2 AA messages.
6. If Viluin was the biggest you dealt with to date, then you're wrong in saying that you've dealt with bigger and better funded rogue entities. He states here that he had in the neighborhood of 6 bil, which means LPS has roughly +38% more cash than Viluin. Judging by the nations he fought, LPS and Wes may both be bigger in NS than Viluin was, and as Wes stated, there's 2 of them. That being said, there's no doubt in my mind that Polar possesses the resolve to keep combating this threat. They did it when BF1 hit Polar. I'm sure it's much more likely that LPS and Wes will get bored with perpetual war and eventually just let their nations sink into the abyss. But Viluin states in the above linked thread that he had nothing personal against Polar, whereas LPS and Wes have stated that it is personal. I think that will play a role in how long it is before they decide to move on. I also would give them the benefit of the doubt as they've been dealing with coffeeshock for at least a year now. They have experience dealing in this type of warfare - they know firsthand the type of damage a rogue of this nature can do, so who really knows how long it'll take before logging in for a few minutes every day to send a nuke to Polar's new recruits has lost it's appeal.
7. I could be wrong on this, but what was grandfathered in was same network nations. The rules for those nations were the same for the rules on same network nations now - no aid transactions, resource trading, aiding eachother in war, or going to war against eachother. I don't think they were given a free pass to make as many same network nations as they liked to funnel themselves tech.
8. MORDORMORDORMORDOR My old friend! It's wonderful to see you! I don't play TE anymore, but I still hang around on IRC sometimes. My nick is Samwise. I'll PM you my contact info on these forums, Mordor. ;)
9. What's the wifey exchange rate for cash/tech? :ehm:
10. Join War Doves, and run their IA department.
11. 100 mil in cash? Screw the mandatory week of peacemode and it solves the spy op problem.
12. Thank you everyone for the well wishes. VE is good people, and have done right by us for many years, and have now opened their home to us. We really couldn't ask for better friends. These quotes pretty much sum up my feelings as we made this decision. It was definitely bittersweet in that we retire the GOP, but our story continues, and we are excited for what the future holds. :) As a side note, I'd like to say that in our attempts to message our folks and notify them of the proper steps to make the move to VE, we mistakenly messaged some who were not former GOP members, but rather those that registered on our boards for diplomatic purposes. Please disregard the message, and I apologize for the spam. Unless of course you'd like step-by-step instructions on how to apply to VE.

13. I'm looking for a replacement in my long established green team trade circle. It's a 3BR (beer, FF, construction) with fish/uranium. You must be able to switch to the green team immediately as well as be able to switch resources immediately. Contact me ASAP for details: http://www.cybernations.net/nation_drill_display.asp?Nation_ID=201835
14. .:The Green Old Party merges into the Viridian Entente:. About 6.5 years ago, the GOP set out to to create a unique community. In that time, we explored ideas around "soft neutrality" and conservatism. These many years have treated us well, and we feel we have accomplished all that we set out to - and all that we could hope to at this stage. Love us or hate us, we "played the game" exactly the way WE wanted to... for the better part of a decade. We made some great friendships, and we had a blast. But our experiment has run its course and the flag of the GOP will now be folded up, and our membership will fold into the ranks of the Viridian Entente - the one alliance who both respected and supported our right to exist how we saw fit. Our thanks to the hundreds of people who joined the GOP's ranks at some point, and the hundreds more who've supported us over the years. Our forums will remain open so that our conservative membership will still have a place to discuss politics and the like but our members will begin the AA transition to VE immediately. 15. Big talk from the AA that took how many econ ops at the start of the round? I'd be more worried about cleaning your own house than thinking you're gonna disband WD.
16. We understand that you're already involved with another. We don't judge. Okay, I lied. I watched that video being all kinds of judgy, but it's only because I am super jelly and think we can make this work.
17. My wars are less than 24 hours old, and yet it allows me to view the launch nuclear weapons page: I'm not actually able to launch nukes, but I can view the page in 2/4 of my wars, and I'm not the only one it's happening to. Obviously a bug.
18. I have a spot open. I'll message you in-game.
19. It's no problem. :) I did check, and despite War Doves keeping terrible records since I left, I was still able to find that the last round they applied War Doves was 33.
20. Can confirm. Czar and malarkian left WD to create their own alliance this round, Alpha Wolves. We haven't seen nor heard from them since. EDIT: On second thought, I'm not even sure Czar and Malarkian were in WD last round. They might have made the move to D1 last round, which would make sense as to why they're helping D1 now. I'll do some digging and get back to you.
21. I decifered what I could from both sides of the story, and tried to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. From what I know, TJack75 was helping IREC while he was there, building trades circles. TDO raided TJack75 while on the IREC AA, and he retalliated against TDO. Ultimately, TJack75 was kicked from IREC, and applied to War Doves. Pigeons flock together, as you well know. Or is that ducks? Anywho, since then, TJack75 and Stevepick have been going through a lovers quarrel. You know how that goes. I tried to be reasonable, and divide the shared assets. Stevepick gets to keep the home they shared, the kids, their '72 Pinto, and TJ's beloved pooch. TJ gets to come stay at his messy brother's house, who eats all TJ's food and wears TJ's clothes because let's face it, we're just too lazy to do our own laundry here at War Doves. I was hoping that both parties could move on, and learn to love again... but it seems IREC's not yet ready. As for me, I'm rather enjoying drinking TJ's beer. So it's a win-win for me. \o/ You can't really fault the man for telling the truth. A few alliances have been raiding IREC. There'd be more, but you're not in very many people's range. After people get out of their wars and need blockade dumps before they rebuild I imagine that'll change. Also, TJack75 never initiated an offensive act of war against IREC. Since the day he left, it's IREC that's been the aggressor.
22. How is it a defensive action? You raided them on the 13th, then peaced out, then came back for more: http://tournament.cybernations.net/alliance_wars.asp?ID=43 I went to see if maybe they spied you, and nope, no offensive spy attacks from them either: http://tournament.cybernations.net/alliance_spies.asp?ID=43
