Sir for the first time, i agree with you. I hate people who take pot shots then make it look like they "didn't know". However, i do not know the truth that if this was intentional or not, only Shinra himself does. My opinion is that he probably knew. Don't attack me. I'm decomming my tanks, etc."? What...? I don't think we were supposed to do that..? I didn't do that for my targets, and they all listened... Plus if Shinra REALLY didn't read his PM, he wouldn't of saw Maelstorm's PM anyways if he had sent it... I don't know about RoK, but we started sending out cease and desists about 10 minutes before it was posted. Thus, it is very possible that an order to stop attacks didn't go through by the time he declared. Anyways, it pretty pointless by now. First off, I had been planning to make an attack upon Maelstrom Vortex for a few days before now and had been trying to get together a number of RoK nations to make a joint strike against him due to his attacks upon weaker Karma nations, ones he had a major advantage over due to his improvements and air force. I would have had to have ditched a lot of infra and land to get in range so I was somewhat reluctant to make an an attack if others were in range. I can get screenshots of one or two posts from the RoK forums if you want proof. On the day I attacked I simply checked MV's nation before I checked my inbox (I was at war with two other nations at the time) and found that he was now within striking range presumably due to aid he had received a few days beforehand, I declared war and made a number of attacks and then checked my inbox to find a message stating that the war was over. I made a peace offer and sending an apology for my attack after the war's end and moved on to the forums. I’ll admit that there is no love lost between the NPO or I, but I take a dim view of this as Vortex and those stating that this was a simple cheap shot made various estimations and judgments without actually coming to me and asking for the whole truth in this matter. All it would have taken is a simple PM, so I regard this as being little more than a publicity stunt. Finally, to everyone who has been defending my position on this matter up till now, I thank you. Didn't it strike you as odd then that he'd disbanded his entire air force; your second air attack on him was unescorted, so you clearly noticed that. Anyway, I think this issue has been cleared up and nicely proves that not everything is suitable for the OWF. If you take stuff like this to leadership you get a prompt and definitive answer, whereas if you take stuff like this to the OWF you get pages of speculation and name-calling. It shall include the money taken and the damage done to his infra, but it shall be far less than the 15,000,000 you suggested as I did nowhere near that much damage. At the most I probably only did 700K overall. EDIT: This is obviously assuming that the NPO's surrender terms do not prevent me from sending aid anyway. Btw, I'm sure it was an accident, just in my personal perception whether it was intentional or not is irrelevant, I think paying reps for the damage done would be fair.
