First up; The Order Of The Paradox takes today's Biggest Gainer award, with a gain of excess of a third of a point as they throw themselves across the 50 score barrier and into an undisputed hold on first place overall. Sparta reacted the opposite way; vapourizing a quarter-point and giving us a race for second place with the Mostly Harmless Alliance to look forward to. The Democratic Order repeated this act by unleashing more than a fifth of a point, and allowing seventh place to fall to the Green Protection Agency. Don't forget about the New Pacific Order in thirteenth, who posted a double-digit gain today, and is within a tenth of a point of The Order Of Light. Below the big line, The Legion and The Grämlins continue their dance, with the former pulling back all-important ground on the latter. A double-digit gain from either of those two, or a similar loss by the Mushroom Kingdom, could make that once more a three-man race. Speaking of three-man races, Athens wishes to end any rumours about losing their position, taking a share of today's Biggest Gainer prize and leaping away from the Global Alliance And Treaty Organization, despite a double-digit jump from our leading Brown alliance. Their race with Monos Archein and the United Purple Nations has widened somewhat due to today's events, but I wouldn't call it decided just yet. I would, however, keep a close eye on Ragnarok, who is showing the potential to join this contest. Farther on down, the Commonwealth Of Sovereign Nations and the Multicolored Cross-X Alliance keep pace with each other, with the former meeting the 16 score mark, while the purple alliances surrounding these two - Invicta and M*A*S*H - will both be wanting to do better tomorrow. Nueva Vida posts a substantial loss, all but falling out of the race with the North Atlantic Defense Coalition and the Random Insanity Alliance, while something goes drastically wrong with Umbrella, losing only three members but for a loss of two-thirds of a point, falling below RnR today and threatening to repeat the act with We Are Perth Army tomorrow. Today's special shoutout goes to Ubercon, who may not have many days left in the race if they keep flirting with the Drop Line as they've been doing recently. Ninja-R made it for us back when he was in CIA. And don't worry about our yucky pip, you wont have to see it much sooner... its time for us to fade into the background again soon so the alliances with political aspirations can take their rightful places on the sanction list.
