1.
Truly a master debater here.
Mostly, Yev has just been harping on one point, taking a single fact and extrapolating an entire other set of facts from it to make up an argument. The one point has been addressed by multiple people, and his responses have basically been to repeat himself ad naseum. At some point, people stop bothering to address it again, as it's clear he's not interested in a real explanation, but prefers to just push his imagined explanation instead. Also, LSF apparently had the time and organization to come up with the most convoluted way to say "$%&@ you" instead of apologizing, so I think they could have managed to send out 100 tech to Rab. That's not exactly an arduous process.

"Zeal"
Someone made a thread about "Zealing" under the presumption that ZI was actually upper-case z lowercase l, not the actual letters Z and I. So they just mixed the two words and voila, CN birthed a new meme. EDIT Blame this guy. http://forums.cybern...howtopic=111599
But that's still not "zeal." That would just be like "Zie" or "Zee" or something. $%&@ life, man. !@#$%^&*. Has anyone "zeal"ed this person yet?

"Zeal"

Zeal (noun) fervor for a person, cause, or object; eager desire or endeavor; enthusiastic diligence; ardor. While you can attack someone with zeal, or feel zeal for attacking someone, I guess, you cannot zeal someone, or make someone be zealed. There is no verb form of "Zeal." Zeal does not mean or bear any resemblance whatsoever to ZI, unless you have a mouth full of pudding. I can't tell if everyone is trolling or if everyone is just suddenly stupid(er). Stop saying "zeal" unless you actually mean zeal. It's dumb, and you should feel bad. Thank you for your understanding.
5. If you're going to use a last minute treaty to make a statement, you could at least have the balls to make it a real treaty.
6. The only real question is who ever thought that this treaty would last to begin with. Congratulations to, well, everyone.
7. It's hard to condemn the neutrals when they clearly aren't missing out on much of anything anymore.
8. What's a xodigoon and is there a shelter where I can inquire about adopting one? After all, you say "mutt," I say "not inbred."
9. Down with the ferric menace. A plague upon your house, and a thousand boils upon your head; your republic cast to the winds. All your iron turn to rust; all your proud men turn to dust.
10. Boooooooooooooo your alliance sucks. Yea, I'm too lazy to try anymore.
11. Now to do it all again. best alliance evar <3
12.
Kind of like fighting NSO is....
Well, you lost millions of strength in a war where seemingly half the world was determined to find new ways to screw us over, so..... yay treaty etc whatever
13. What we really need is more radio stations. Maybe admin can set up an automated radio station that is just a computer program "reading" blog posts. 24 hours a day. Awesome. Game saved. You can thank me later.
14. I refuse to read posts that use the font tag. The fight to preserve community standards starts here. This is the line. Good luck or whatever.
15. I was about to make fun of those people for being "Master Wizard"s but then I remembered that I used to be a Sith Lord. So, uh, congrats.
16. I don't understand how anyone can criticize us here when the NSO is clearly blameless and there isn't anything that could possibly be construed as worthy of criticism in our actions. I do like the implication that the NSO should go ahead and burn (again) because RoK, of all people, decided to collectively !@#$ itself and may or may not be getting attacked in the near future. Let's just welcome that one with open arms, because that makes sense. Anyway, best of luck with whatever the hell you guys have going on.
17. Congratulations! Treaties! Diplomacy! Hurrah! o/ Legacy, and I guess those Buccaneers fellows too even if I don't know them.
18.
Its not that we didnt see this war coming from a mile away, its that we couldn't really tell how we were going to fight this war until it was upon us. The preempt from Fark on NPO was something out of our control and (according to some members in GATO and ODN) caused C&G and MK to attack one of our strongest allies and force them away from any help we could have gotten through this war. So in closing, we did know the war was coming but a ton of stuff threw us for a loop once it got here.
So because you didn't have weeks to plan out some super awesome strategy beforehand you decided to just not fight? An alliance war isn't exactly that complicated. Step 1: Fight.
19. You could just stop offering peace.
20. Re: Treaties. You could work treaties and alliance wars into the actual mechanics of the game and have alliances that hold MDPs with each other be automatically placed "at war" upon their ally being attacked (or having war declared) - of course you'd have to have some basic in-game alliance mechanics and basic in-game Declaration of War functionality for that to work, but that doesn't really sound like too tall an order. Also warchests were a predictable problem years ago and never should have been allowed to get to where they are. It would be almost trivial to change the mechanics to penalize large idle cash reserves. I suppose if there is actually a growing community awareness and consensus to fix this then it might lead to this sort of change finally being implemented.
