Rumours of our demise are greatly exaggerated! We did have a heir, problem is they both deleted. It's a bummer, we're moving to a temporary AA now. And mind you that any raid on a member of ours will lead to a serious diplomatic incident. The Treaty at the End of the Universe Preamble: The Mostly Harmless Alliance (MHA) and Atlas (Atlas) hereby proclaim these accords to establish a non-chaining mutual defence and optional aggression pact. Thanks, enjoying a war always is a motivation for a DoW. Our entry has been in the air for a while indeed and delays came for several reasons. The large amount on Sparta is one reason why we delayed. It comes down to sticking to a plan with several scenarios. And this was one of those. Not my personal favourite scenario, but the reasons and motivations are sound. So no regrets or shame here

Students in the MHA Guide School are not know for being very productive or interesting. They drink a lot, no doubt about that, but produce revolutionary ideas about our Guide... no. Or rather, rarely. A while ago, on a Tuesday, our School had slightly less than usual pan galactic gargle blasters in store. When news came out, students rushed to get all PGGB's they could as quickly as possible. In the following chain reaction there was overconsumption of PGGB's with shorter than usual supply. Riots became inevitable. Some deaths also. That day now is known as "Green Tuesday". Why green was chosen remains a mystery. In times of need, people sometimes stand up. "Enough!", one shouted. I did mention deaths, did I? Yet enough it was. MHA leaders are corrupted by power, psychopathic and narcissistic. This on a good day. After Green Tuesday, they were overthrown. MHA will now have a sole leader: the Ruler of the Universe. That brings us to the new MHA gov structure: Ruler of the Universe (in charge of making sure the School never ever again has a short supply of PGGB's) - random appointed hitchhiker for a 3 month term Minister of Hitchhikers (in charge of internal affairs and economy) - Elected for a 3-month term Minister of Babel Fish (in charge of diplomacy and communication) - Elected for a 3-month term Minister of Destructor Fleets (in charge of the war department) - Elected for a 3-month term The 3 ministers will act as triumvirate for general leadership of the alliance. They also are the first point of contact for foreign leaders & gov. The Ruler cannot be contacted. The coordinates of the planet where the Ruler resides will remain secret, each minister only knows part of the coordinates. The ministries will be staffed with a deputy and secretaries (appointed by the minister). Thanks for coming in, Scorn :) Now our allies aren't in a position to come to assistance on the battlefied. They either are in the war very deep already, or on the other side. One ally did try to help us out here, that was much appreciated, even if it didn't work out in the end.

Be carefull what you wish for, Vogon Poetry is our ultimate weapon in war. You're fighting Scytale, I don't want to be responsible for the poetry he may send you. If he's in a cruel mood. It's a shame I'm no good in writing it, I tried but find it very difficult to to get satisfactory result. When I send it in war best I can do is edited versions of poetry I find on the web or on our forums.
