There is 1 nation in the CN top 20 that's not in DBDC (or fanboys) or a neutral. You cannot blame the opposition for hiding in peace mode with that amount of power that can hugely down declare on you. Is that lack of competence? You did it all to yourselves, creating the alliance DBDC is, and the allies you chose. It's a recepe for boredom. If you want action, you probably would be better off in a neutral alliance, for they'll get targetted sooner than your gang. If it stability and power you're looking for, you have done an excellent job. But once you achieved that, you really shouldn't complain about being bored. Nor should you blame the rest for being incompetent.

That is a bit over simplified. The formula would be more like (IF alliance is allied to NpO AND alliance is NOT allied to our side) OR (IF alliance is allied to NpO's allies AND alliance is NOT allied to our side) OR IF alliance is deemed inactive THEN wars can be declared without DoW. In short, I think Dajobo's formula was closer. He did forget to mention the reason: You're bored! You alliances with strong upper tier have been flocking together so hard that you got isolated with nobody to play with. So next time you forge a coalition, then have the guts to pick a war that also challenges your top tier. That would be good for you, would be good for us and would be good for CN.

Us being outnumbered or not is no issue. Our side is outnumbered, so if we'll be defeated, that that's the main reason. We all were well aware of that even before Doomsquad did their no-cb declaration. When we declared on NEW, we executed only half the plan we had in mind. Something came up last moment to go for the full plan. Our plan is to support our friends & allies the best possible way. That is the simple explanation for this DoW.

Imo, war in this game is what gets people together, across alliances. Sure, there are those that take things to literally and get nasty. The majority I believe, enjoys war and don't get a bad feeling about it. It's just fun aspect of the game. Hence, a christmas truce in game would miss its point. Perhaps it has a symbolical point, but it would be meaningless because all one would need to do is do nothing. If you want a truce on christmas, then do it where the "real" wars are being fought. Here on the OWF. You want to give a meaning to a truce, then make it a day when people treat each other with respect on the OWF. Thát would cost an effort for a number of people. And if you put an effort into it, then it may have a meaning.

People are very cruel. I hope NEW will, as an act of mercy, get one more out of peace mode to declare on Scytale. I don't want to think about the consequenses if he doesn't get that 7th slot filled...

And we definitely will too! That makes this a win-win situation :) I'm very happy with NEW as target so far. The one thing I care about in this game is having fun. And it's early for conclusions, but I feel that NEW also enjoys fun more than trolling. There's no better place to get to know people and make friends than on the battlefied. In the past, too many alliances have showed to be all but fun. So thumbs up for NEW :)

Can't have MHA declaring a war without the usual stab at our capabilities. If you run numbers, please note that NEW only has 10 nations in war mode below 100k infra. Which is where the bulk of our strength is. It's understandable our member are reluctant of declaring over 100k, because we're overpowered in that range. We have few in peace mode, NEW just has a lot more targets to choose from. All in all, I'm happy with the show we're giving so far.

Which have been apologised for, paid for and I requested what else is needed to liquidate this issue. I don't think there's anything more we can do to peacefully solve this. So the ball is in your camp. But indeed, this whole global one started over a non-existant cb, if FTW believes this mistake is enough CB to declare on MHA, then you at least got a stronger one than Doomsquad.

MHA never sits out a global war. Going into this one feels like finding a toilet after a very long search :)

Okay, then I'll rephrase to "I suppose hope that'll be enough to heal the wounds.". Meanwhile we've almost doubled the amount of active wars for NEW. That's not too bad considering the exremely limited amount of nations in war mode outside of their top tier. Now I hope there'll be some candy for me in the future, the only one 1 had in range was covered already...

Reading isn't the issue, getting stuff done in the middle of the night after the alarm clock woke me up is. Peace is sent to those 2 and I added reps to that. I suppose that'll be enough to heal the wounds.

NADC pretty much is the most loved alliance in CN! They're cood dudes, I can understand people want to play with them. Though you guys are not going to get a lot of love for this. It's absurd, the game you're playing.

Technically correct. The carnage on the battlefield however doesn't reflect the need for it. Look, everybody knows the goal of this war and your coalition is not just to eliminate evil aftermath. Then it's logical one assumes moves are made to make things run according to a plan. And there's nothing wrong about that, I'm puzzled why everybody is so defensive when people bring that up.
