You know its really funny some of the posts in this thread talking about oA and all.... On our front, Valhalla is defending IRON who was attacked by FAN. PC, DT and NoR all jumped on Valhalla, with NoR's DoW being the ONLY one listing a valid treaty clause moving in support of DT. Those that came to support Valhalla get dogpiled on by I think a total of 14 alliances. Yesterday in conversations with FoK and Stickmen we all agreed on one thing..we were there to defend our allies. We were offered the same options at the original post. We of course turned them down even being outnumbered basically 2:1. Why? For the same reason many of the posters in this thread. We will not leave allies on the field. MK has stated in his thread that peace for TOP and IRON will not be given for a long time due to the attacks on C&G. Many on our side will not leave until that happens. So as far as peace talks go...those whom want peace, approach those alliances you are at war with. Everyone else...lets continue to nuke the crap out of each other until we are all irrelevant on Bob for the next year, while those not even involved or already peace out move to the forefront of power because we are all showing that our epeens are longer than each other. /me smiles and watches NPO take #1 in all categories...

Very much agree with this post even though nations against my alliance numbers is overwhelming we are still having fun. We are standing by friends, we are experiencing a part of the game that indeed is fun (barring the server crashes at reset). We have invested a lot of time in our nations if you play this game long enough. However, it is just a game. Part of that game is the analysis of it however. I am guilty of that. Part of this game is the politics behind the wars. Some makes sense some make you go but lately its been and Either way its been a blast and as long as folks we are involved with are joking around and having fun with it and not acting like a*(*(*&^*%%(#) about things its easier to deal with. Now back to my bunker...the radiation is getting bright out here...

Wow, I am just really speechless as to the turns and precedents this war has taken. Alliances going "pixeless" and determining that treaties are just announcements of friendships and unnecessary. Myself personally I think its a strategic and very big part of this world. However for them to be worth the dots they are made with alliances need to be willing to stand behind them. Differences are going to happen (aka wars). Thing is how does an alliance align itself in a way that they HAVE a choice. Well MADP's limit that choice a bunch. I think the value of MoADP's will become apparent in the coming months. These FORCE signatories to talk to each other in times of crisis. I also think non-chaining is the way to go. Or at least optional chaining. Or... Are we going to a paperless Bob and relying on honor and friendship? I know for the most part Olympus would be ok in that realm. We have made some good friends I think would come to pinch hit for us if we got in a jam. After the flip flopping really on both sides in the last two conflicts though I think Bob needs a treaty reset, or at the very least everyone tied to both "sides" as it were look at which ones are most important to them.
