Another update..
I like the way polaris is not at the center of the graphic... wars tended to expand towards certains front and not others... pretty fun to see...
Tadaaam...
New Map after this updates
Some random comments:
- I like how IFOK seems to be at the center of the conflict... you must be doing something right here guys
- There seems to be a tough place on the UINE/FAR/tlW vs CNG battlfront... interwinded lines never sounds good
- Thx RIA, you make this graph so shiny with this green triangle !
Comments welcomed !
Edit : forgot the VE Dow on IAA
Hey there !
I was bored and used to do charts too for wars so I opened my excel sheets and my network analysis program and made this :
In all honesty, here are the other charts make till now :

And I add a link to one of my latest bipolar war update...
Let the competition begin and help us all improve our graphic and anlytical skills
Hope you'll like it
I was bored and thought about how CN would be if it were in french... and the most hilarious thing was the translation of the AA... Here is the first 20 alliances.
Hope you'll enjoy or make you smile
1) Mostly Harmless Alliance : Alliance Globalement Inofensive (AGI)1
2) New Pacific Order: Nouvel Ordre du Pacifique (NOP)
3) Green Protection Agency : Agence de Protection Verte (APV)
4) New Polar Order : Nouvel Ordre Polaire (NOp)
5) Sparta : Sparte
6) Fark : Fark

Hello Geeks and Geekettes (yeah each specie has its female couterparts !)
I was wondering something about a technical issue i encountered for a long time.
Is it possible to use an "offline-browser" with Cybernations ? I mean, I know the terms of compliance forbid the use of softwares looking directly "into" the servers. So we're bound to use "client-side" softs to use data collected. I'm perfectly fine with that.
But my knowledge on client/server things is limited and I wanted to know if you
I was thinking of a little question that is always on the back of my mind... How could we define a change in alliance policy ?
You see, i'm not that naive, i understand that objective criteria can't be used here. There will always be people to deny any change in their enemy behavior... but there is surely some clues as to how one can describe a radical change ?
This question is motivated by a series of practical cases inspired by the CN history...
- What did indicate to CnG that ODN changed ?
Following the part 1 on the importance of having an AA, the normal path would be to talk about raid and such behaviours. So here we are !
PART 2 : "They see me raidin' and rollin'"
1. Newbie raids ?
CAVEAT : in 2 years, I've never raided a single nation…and I had plenty of opportunities (being in a rainding alliance, Valhalla).
I completely understand the point of raiding :
- You gain land and tech (and sometimes casualties)
- You may teach your low rank the war mechanisms
- You ha
After 2 years in CN, I'm about to write down all the things I've thought throughout this couple of years...
This could be considered as the part one (if I have the heart to write the following parts )
Sorry if it looks like ranting.. it's not
PART 1. Importance of having an AA !
1. A CN Career depends on (nearly) nothing
Everyone agree on the fact that your first AA will have a great influence on your CN career.
When I joined the game on march 2008, I applied to GR, then to
I'm Back !
I saw very good updates of the web of war in the last few days (hat tip to Jerichoholic) and now that it begins to get complicated, I fell compelled to add my own map.
Why such a pride to show what I do with my free time ? I feel that our 2 maps do not show the same thing. Jericho's map is much more beatiful and allow to see coalition. Mine, imho, is more appropriate to get the front and counter attack dimension (since the mapping feature I use put the alliances at war at equal dis
Ok... Time to reset the counter...
After an epic night and update, we know have new fronts, new peaces, new traps. On a personal note, if all this was orchestrated, there is only thing to say "Brilliant"... The best sentence i heard so far was "And some said that NPO was evil ? look at that..."
But here is the new war web... without our dear \m/ and PC (Polaris is still in due to a few wars that have not yet been peaced... Stickmen, I salute you).
So what's new ?
- Clearly there was a tr
I didn't want to create a new topic on the OWF for this, so i decided to publish it here (and the new forum feature pointing to the newest blog entries created the incentive to use a CN blog).
So, this is a web representation of all the DoW posted. I've always been interested in graphical representation and network... so this is a good way to get trained.
Some direct comments :
- What I like is that we definitely see here the attack and counter attack mechanisms.
- It would be interestin
