R&R: "Ew, that GOD treaty though"
-
Quite the contrary, fear and boredom are both intergal motivators in the game's FA. :colbert:
Fear? Sure. Boredom? Not at all. Coupled are a terrible combination, tho.
-
I think fear and boredom have killed this game's FA

By saying this, you're implying that alliances do have the right to exclusive communication with their members, which means you need to justify that.
Sovereignty, there's no need for more explanation.
Communication with membership has always been seen as exclusive right of elected or appointed officials thanks to the membership belonging to a specific group with specific values and rules, and specific duties. One of those duties is loyalty, which is infringed by dealing with foreign entities as an individual and not as alliance representative.
-
If I found out a foreign entity such an alliance was mass-messaging my alliance membership I would not hesitate to advocate war against them, not out of fear of losing members but rather because it is an infringement on my alliance's sovereignty.
Poaching only affects those who are willing to be poached, though: if you lose members by the scores you should probably check out what's wrong with your own alliance.
-
I think I was joking.
That's quite the age-old excuse.
-
Was it? I'm not sold on that line of thought.

Thats ok, I still got to call steve a popinjay.
I dislike NG like every other man, but this says much about the quality of these "articles". If you had simply called them pieces of propaganda, they would have been fine.

How to conveniently apply an analysis on the last 6 months of gameplay only...
NpO only recently re-emerged from a long period of isolation. Also, wasn't Dave War a mistake on TOP and Umbrella's part?

A pillar of independent journalism.

Lack of energy and time were the only things that decided SF's fate.

Nobody mentioned activity yet. Well, MT did.

DETAILS!

Tech i% ncrease on a certain period would be a good one.

Sad truth is, this game allows only certain gameplay styles. And alliances are one of them, perhaps the most important of all.
You can't hope to be taken seriously when you preach about change from 1-man AAs. Nobody will give you consideration, because almost nobody has managed to attain a sizeable amount of influence from that position.
Join an alliance, prove your worth, and rise through the ranks: it's feasible, it just takes time as in every RL institution made by man.
-
That is ridiculous. How does a 1 rogue cause all of this? 42 major alliances all fighting because of one rogue, who fought under the Kaskus Name. I know it was Anarchy, a ally of DT, who declared but it appears that maybe they grasped at straws. But who am I, I still support the efforts of DT's Allies.
WIN THAT WAR BLUES! (That's what color the graph is for our allies.)
Wait... what?
-
To be quite honest, this is a problem only if small alliances can't take the heat. GPF seems to keep going despite several issues, so you probably have a good chance to survive long-term
-
And not a single damn was given that day...
-
Not so slow for me.
-
This clearly shows you don't know the game mechanics at all.
Sending 5000$ as aid once per month is a severe hit to efficient use of aid slots. Not that the sum would be worth anything...
Also, grouping nations by their Government type? O_o Most nations swap continuously between one government and another, to gain benefits from them in different situations...
-
Mass recruiting is still profitable, and considering how simple and poor of features the game is, even a few nations out of dozens of messages should be considered a great results.
My alliance (R&R) is still successful at recruiting, but I'm no expert at it (I recruit only high NS nations): I will direct our expert here
