  1. anyone who is claiming infrastructure before friends that also resides in any of the orders, any alliance that was once in WUT or Q, or any alliance that dropped a treaty to conveniently stay out of, or in order to join the winning side of a conflict, needs to shut up.

    D34th, I'm looking at you.

    I'm calling Infra before Friends.

See, if the situation was reversed and it was iFOK or PC who had done this !@#$, NEW wouldn't have even hesitated in defending them.

  2. I'm glad you feel that way about TOOL. 90 days is a nice achievement. I remember around my 90th day in TOOL (around Jan-Feb '09) that we were getting ready, as was most alliances, for what would become know as the Karma war, except I was an inactive noob until another month later :v:

If one thing has spoken to me most clearly, it is the number of those members who had left who have attempted to return to the alliance. Almost without exception, those who left seeking greener pastures have chosen to return to TOOL. Have they not found what they sought? Was it not as they believed it could be? Or, was the place they left really the best option in the first place?

For me, I left because of clashing ideologies with the gov. Some heated arguments, some nice debates; in the end, I got sick of it :P. Was a nice stay, but I chose to make my own way on Planet Bob.

  3. Used to play Kings of Chaos. It's pretty much dead now.

Darkthrone was also pretty good. Still alive today actually, with around the same amount of players that CN has - last time I checked.

CN will last longer because of our strong community. It's one of the strongest I've seen anywhere, and I've been around a bit - though not as much as you have.

It's a pity Earth 2025 is dying out. It was a great game in it's hayday.

  4. Its great that you think we have the moral high ground, but CnG is not keeping TOP and IRON in perpetual war to eliminate them as a threat just because they attacked us. We offered them terms that wouldn't even repair 50% of the damage they have done to all the alliances involved.

    They're stalling, not us.

You could also say that you're stalling since TOP/IRON and co. have already offered white peace, and continue to do keep that on the negotiating table.

Reps aren't about repairing the damage of the war, and it's ridiculous to think so. It's about keeping an alliance down for a while after the war is over so as to not be a threat again, right after a conflict.

As for the OP, in this case, I don't believe CnG will last as long as TOP, except for perhaps MK. Sure, they have a lot more nations to cycle in and out, but as time goes on, no matter who "wins", it will be a loss.

  5. Yes, IRON/TOP/DAWN/TORN entered in an aggressive war. That does not mean that allies can wriggle their way out of treaty obligations. Non-chaining treaties normally talk about using optional clauses from another treaty, rather than using aggression to make the Mutual part Optional.

Those who try wriggle their way out of conflicts because of this so called "non chaining treaty clause" are nothing but cowards in my opinion. That MDP you have may as well be an ODP.
