So will the South force non-aligned nations from the black sphere to join? You could place them into tech farms (plantations) and make them do 3mil/150tech deals for the rest of their lives.

I've come to the uncompromising conclusion that admin should force all thread titles to relate to the threads in some way. All these fake DOWs and perfunctory or vague "An Awesome Announcement from Acme" things are just plain annoying. You click on these threads and you've got no idea whether it will be the beginning of a great war or a waste of your time.

I'm sure THONG has within it something capable of growth. My advice: keep it clean, stay cool (but not too cool), invite into THONG all noble members you can, but be wary of those who enter THONG with ill intent. I thought peace was a good idea until I read pages 20-30 or so in this thread. Perhaps another week of beatin' would've served them well.

White peace was a bad idea. IRON, you really should've asked for some small symbolic gesture, such as one pack 3mil/50t.

I really wish I had some records to check all the lolGGA nonsense. My fondest memory was the membership's reaction to preemptively DOWing the MHA (an alliance that had 10mil more NS than us) in defense of IRON. Discussions involved glowing green penises, links to pages selling iodine tablets, etc. We knew we'd all be tripl teamed and get the crap beaten out of us, but we didn't care. We'd just rebuild like last time (and the time before that). We really thought of ourselves as some kind of hated energizer bunny that just wouldn't die. The GGA did more than most alliances ever will. The vast majority would've collapsed far earlier if they held the same ground. Oh well. I hope GGA members will remain on the green team and take advantage of the many fine alliances there. Your former members are all over the green sphere already, and will welcome you with open arms.

It's always sad to see old friends rolling around in the dirt. The GGA I knew for 600 days didn't deserve most of the lolgga crap that spammed the owf. But the GGA post-coup probably does, I'm sad to say. This is just sad. I mean, you guys are making progress! I just checked your stats, and it looks like you're on track to get to 1mil NS in early July. Why screw it up w/stuff like this? I mean, with the amount of effort JB puts into flaming and scheming he could hook up half it's members w/tech buyers. Maybe that would be a wiser use of GGAgov's time?
