Ideally, the only time ye would not follow a treaty be when your matey has broken the treaty or has done something so horrible that ye be cancelling the treaty. The worst part be that the current mindset does nothing to those who do not honor their treaties. If people were held accountable for when they did not honor a call for help then they would mean something and people would put a lot more thought into who they were tied to. Everyone complains how bored they be with the current state of the game. All they have to do be start holding people to their treaties and things will be much more exciting.

It's easier to take shots at the guy you know isn't going to hit you back than to walk up to the big kids and swing for the fences. The funniest part about most of the alliances who are claiming to be bored is that they created this mess. When you look for anything to form a CB and then jump on it, don't be shocked when people start getting tight lipped around you. There's many alliances who used to be hugely active and now stay away from the OWF due to the hostile nature there. One of these days, someone will be brave enough to walk up to that big guy and "do something about it". Till then, people will just sit around, be bored and pick on the other guy sitting alone, minding his own buisness.

We also impose some pretty strict guidelines on admission of new members, and conduct of the existing ones, not to even mention our very strict foreign aid policy. Many nations either are not comfortable with this, or just want a place to bulk up for a bit before trying something else. GPA is not that kind of a place; it's a place for people who are truly committed to our ideals and community. And that's the way we intend to keep it.
