Athenian Annoucement

Greetings Good world, today we Athenians come to you to announce that the Peace, Intelligence and Aid treaty shared between Athena and Invicta has been formally canceled, we notified Invicta of our intent to cancel and the 72 hour waiting period has expired since.

Regardless of the strength of any treaty, Athens takes it as a serious commitment to an alliance, and it is always an unfortunate event when one needs to be canceled, Invicta has always made considerable effort to ensure they upheld their end of this treaty and we commend them. However as Athens grows and starts relations with new alliances, becoming close to those alliances takes our attention away from the existing ties, and inevitably there comes a time when older treaties no longer have the same power they once did.

We wish Invicta all the best in the future.

Signed, The Government of Athens

Congrats Invicta.

Congratulations on your growth, this treaty is indeed beneath you now that you are big and have new big friends.

<&rsoxbronco1|Athens> iClean, go post what wonderful people we are

You're all wonderful people.

Congrats Invicta.

Congratulations on your growth, this treaty is indeed beneath you now that you are big and have new big friends.

Also, you, stop trying to paint Athens like they cut and run on friends simply because of their size. Athens has always been an alliance that sticks by its friends no matter how small or large. Simply drifting away from an alliance you used to be close to is something that happens, it doesn't require additional motive.

Unlike yourself, Invicta is certainly not considered 'beneath' Athens. Invicta has put forth the effort to maintain relations on multiple occasions and we appreciate the work they are able to put into us, they are a class act and would of been a great ally to have furthered relations with. Unfortunately, time goes on and we are both find ourselves drifting in different directions through the treaty web, Athens lacks the manpower to maintain relations with all our treaty partners currently and to remain an alliance that sticks to what they sign, some need to be reassessed.
