Wow, I don't even want to think about this. I was around 25k NS before the war, after almost three months of fighting I was down below 2k and bill locked. After a little aid and constant tech selling I'm finally up to 11.5k. Rebuilding has been slow but it could have been faster if not for my apathy and horrible resources.

There are many small alliances and more are created daily. The vast majority burn out or merge into another alliance, and the few that remain over time are typically inactive or unsuccessful or stagnant, which is why they remain a small alliance. There have been several attempts to create blocs of micro alliances and they've all been spectacular failures. Depending on your goals of what you plan to get out of it you may find some success with the idea. But really, why do you want to hitch your wagon to unsuccessful alliances in the first place. Just because your alliance is small doesn't mean you can only associate with small alliances. Find a suitable protector. Make friends with alliances you admire. Don't take !@#$ from anyone. You will be much better off utilizing the resources of a larger alliance taking you under their wing then banding together with other micros. Just my two cents.
