On this day be th' day that we celebrate th' most holy o' liquids on this mighty planet. Th' liquid bestowed upon us by his holiness hisself. Today, we celebrate Rum in all o' its glory. However, afore we kick back th' tankards, we must first make an announcement o' sorts. Th' Pirates o' th' Parrot Order 'ave some ankle biters who are decidin' t' attack some o' our applicants 'n new hands. Normally we would ne'er post somethin' about this but these bilge rats broke an original Mount Gay Distilleries keg from 1703. Yer mother be a strumpet an' yer cap'n be a scalawag, ye sorry, pox-faced sea cur! If ye attack me alliance be one thin', if ye attack our allies be another, but no one dares spill a drop o' this precious brew. Whether 'tis drinkin' or plunderin', we be doin' it right today. One last thin', wha' would Rum Day be without sharin' some special drinks? Navy Grog 1/2 oz Bacardi® light rum 1/2 oz Bacardi® gold rum 1/2 oz Bacardi® dark rum 1/2 oz Grand Marnier® orange liqueur 1 oz grapefruit juice 1 oz orange juice 1 oz pineapple juice Pour liquors into an ice-filled collins glass. Let the blood flow so we can enjoy thar sweet rum an' loose wenches. Here be me favorite treat when th' doubloons be flowin': Rum Runner 1 1/2 oz light rum 1 1/2 oz dark rum 3/4 oz blackberry brandy 3/4 oz banana liqueur 1/4 oz grenadine syrup 1 1/2 oz orange juice 1 1/2 oz pineapple juice Pour all liquids except dark rum into glass.
