UPN had the single best recruiting day of this entire contest with 10 new recruits. Enough to widen their lead on GATO to 8 recruits and on ODN by 12. NpO also had an impressive jump (though that was over several days so no record) and is still in the hunt to at least unseat ODN and maybe more. But, that said, there is no denying that the story of the day is UPN's dark horse rise from third place to first, and their total domination of the contest the last couple of days. This race has been very nice for us, as we've gotten many solid recruits from the numbers so far. No matter the outcome, that's already a win in our books. Apparently UPN's amazing success the last two days has mobilized GATO into action. Yesterday UPN had 10 recruits, today GATO surges forward and nearly matches that with nine. However, despite the amazing day by GATO, UPN has *nearly* as amazing a day with 7 recruits. The result, is that GATO cuts UPN's lead down by two, but still trails overall. In other news, ODN continues their recent struggles. In a matter of days they have gone from tied for first place to a distant third. If they wish to win this, they will have to start matching the GATO and UPN numbers. Meanwhile, NpO is slowly inching their way closer to third place, and a strong closing run for them could still see them capturing it.
