Stumpy Jung Il
Good move UPN. I definitely hear you on the bloc issue. CnG is the only bloc for me. As to the growing number of Kings of Purple: THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE!!! UPN, I am still with you my child. Kindom of Goon
Being in fewer blocs definately a good thing. Still, Purple seems like a mess these days.
wickedj
The United Purple Nations hereby announces that it will be leaving the Poseidon MDoAP bloc. It states however (with the agreement of the PEACE bloc) that it will be staying as part of the PEACE ODP. The reason for this movement is twofold, firstly that we have little kinship with some (certainly not all) members of the sphere and secondly we'd far prefer to concentrate on being good members of as few blocs as possible. Simple as that. I strongly suspect that people will make up their own reasons as to why this is so, or quite possibly flame this thread. Well...that's up to you, but we know our reasons (and in fact have told you our reasons) and you may believe us or not. We wish the Poseidon bloc the best of luck, recognise that we have many friends there and will continue to communicate on the Purple Unity boards. Feel feel to contact myself or the UPN foreign affairs team if you have any questions. Admit it, you're joining Stickmen..its we'll keep it between you, me and the people in this thread Silly me, i forgot to praise the all mighty King of Purple, Stumpy Edited October 23, 2009 by wickedj

Ivan V
An interesting turn of events. I wonder what caused them to withdraw, but they are still allied to Invicta so it's not that drama.

Taget
This is all a conspiracy. Of course. It could be UPN is changing colors. Perhaps pink so they can keep the UPN name? Or will they change to brown and become UBN? Or perhaps grey and they can keep the P and instead become United Principalities of None. Come to think of it would aqua let them keep the P because the color would be pastel? Or perhaps it is some insidious plot by the NPO since everything after all is NPO's fault. Or perhaps they really are changing their name to United Principalities of None and this is all the work of our evil overlords the Grey Council who rule CN with an iron fist from the shadows while feigning neutrality. Or UPN is still just as close with the rest of their allies still being in PEACE and having close treaty ties with other purple alliances and thought maintaing membership in only one formal bloc (CDT) was their best course for the time being. Nahhh. That would be far too boring.

Schattenmann
The Cult is sorry to see our Purple brothers leave. Though we may no longer be MDoAP'ed, any alliance should factor the Cult as in the rafters when making designs on UPN.

Alterego
An interesting turn of events. I wonder what caused them to withdraw, but they are still allied to Invicta so it's not that drama. No need to wonder its in the OP Still, Purple seems like a mess these days. Not at all, despite the best efforts of multiple blocs to disrupt, fracture or break purple. UPN remaining in PEACE and a healthy bit of competition for the Purple senate is anything but a mess unlike other spheres who were massively split during the last war we (PEACE) are still very much united.
