Velocity111
Last time I calculated it, it would take 5 months to get rid of it(that was when it was at 30ish GRL). I was under the impression that at any given point in time, it would only take 30 days of nobody getting nuked in order for the GRL to go back down to 0, based on "Global radiation is a count of all nations in the game attacked with nuclear weapons in the past 30 days." Haflinger
The point avernite is trying to make, I think, is why measure GRL against an alliance's score (or anything else for that matter)? What correlation does GRL have with an alliance's score that enables it to be measured against said score? They're both numbers?
Yawoo
For fun? And of course so we can get a GRL flag ingame.Similar format? /me shrugs I do love the idea of getting an ingame flag They're both numbers? Yeah, that's what I'm thinking, but that's where avernite's point comes up, why not just use nations? Quite frankly, I like these threads and I want an awesome ingame nuclear flag. That being said, it is a little silly to measure GRL to an alliance's score as the only correlation is that they're both numbers. Ah well, when has anything on the OWF made sense? Tarikmo
We must act now! Before GRL allies to the top alliances. On a more serious note, I never expected GRL to pass 30, by next great war, we will push to 100! En guard Environment! Also: If we cannot have a GRL flag, can we have a GRL in the alliances display? deerokus
At this point of nuclear apocalypse, I think soldiers and tanks should be replaced by Feral Ghouls and Super Mutants.

Well, if GRL passes sanction race alliances' nation counts, we're in alot of trouble. Also the makes sense thing is bangon.
joecanada
Mark my words, I will see to its downfall. Fort Pitt
GRL is ruining the game. oh yes, its like NPO x .5, those ebil !@#$%^&*!
capitalC
Ok then. So if we aren't going to uncap the GRL, wouldn't it make sense to at least bump up the cap? Wouldn't hit me nearly as hard as everyone else cause I've got Radiation Cleanup

Michael McBride
Would you still lose all your soldiers if you got nuked? No, now your soldiers get doubled.
Otherworld
If it could hit 100 I would be impressed..that would take over twice as many different nations to be hit by nukes within a month...not sure if that is possible unless planned. Last time I calculated it, it would take 5 months to get rid of it(that was when it was at 30ish GRL). With 30 days of no nukes it will fall to 0. Khyber
Last time I calculated it, it would take 5 months to get rid of it(that was when it was at 30ish GRL). If we fired every nuke on planet bob today and stopped firing after that, within 31 days GRL would be 0. So 30 days from probably the first 2 to 3 weeks of this war, GRL levels will start to drop drastically. Unspeakable Evil though may have charts on the number of nukes tossed and when to give us all an idea when GRL levels will start to drop. Aeternos Astramora
It was a wise move by Sparta to yeild their #1 spot to GRL, I hear the alternatives were quite scary The alternative was nuking GRL into submission.
