boo hoo boo hoo. Some parts of the internet prefer to use peaceful tactics. Other parts prefer to use hostile tactics. Anonymous's attacks use the basic mechanics of the internet and exploit computing ability. Beyond waiting for advances in technology, theres not a damn thing that anybody is going to be able to do about things like this, so people will !@#$%* and moan and try to find those responsible, but more will just take their place.

I was never in favor of "no reps" myself, but nobody asked me.

I guess I had hoped that whining about sanctions was so 2011.

The nominations are terrible and these awards have been a fiasco since they started. Its a shame that somebody more competent couldn't have done them... Also, I'd like to say that I'll be very disappointed if Umbrella wins military of the year, nothing against Umbrella, but its hard to say that they actually did much fighting in 2011.

I started to fill out the nominations form, but that is way too many categories. That was a problem I noticed last year, when you've got to go to 8 different polls to vote for all the categories, its becoming too much, and it looks like you've made it even worse. If I were you, I'd axe some of the categories (perhaps the ones with the least nominations) to try to make the ones that you do have more meaningful.

This is one of the stupidest things I've seen. Congrats on this meaningless honor.

What I've gathered form this thread is that Echelon still exists. Although, considering their current state compared to what they once was, I don't know if its an accomplishment or not. Congratulations, I suppose, and best of luck to both alliances.

Lazaraus, a few notes: 1) that part of the log is simply irrelevant. I don't care if we were asked to leave WAPA behind for one day, 10 days, or 60 days, or its its non-nuclear or not. We're simply not [u]ever[/u] going to do it. That is not the way to show loyalty and respect to those who war alongside you, and while that may be acceptable to you or Confusion, it is most certainly not acceptable to us. 2) Furthermore, tW will not be making any concessions in this war, not a single one, not that its relevant at this point, as DR hasn't exhibited to us that they are actually winning the war yet (yesterday, DR lost 15.2k NS, tW lost 16.2k NS),. If Confusion is seeking a 77 day war, we have no objections to giving it to him unless he agrees to our conditions. (That runs both ways, see.) which would obviously be simply a mutual exit to this war without any conditions what-so-ever. (which is no more or less then we have ever asked of anybody.) I think what is important for Confusion to understand is that tW is not going to be pushed around by his childish threats. If he wants 77 days of war, he can have it. tW might have its problems, but we are not alone in that regard, and I hold no doubts in saying that DR is not as good as Confusion deludes himself into believing, and there would most certainly be benefits to tW to fighting to the end of the round should Confusion make that necessary.

[/quote] We messaged DR a few days back to initiate the process of discussing peace, because we felt at some point the war would reach a stage where we could all walk away happy. DR, jumping to conclusions as they often do, have apparantly taken such a move as some sort of desperation on our behalf. Nothing could be further from the truth, we feel no pain, and in no way are we desperate to bring this war to a close, but of course, there are other things that we would like to do. First, DR demanded that we make an admission of defeat, which is ridiculous, for while we might not have won, we most certianly have not yet lost. Secondly, DR offered white peace, but only upon the condition that we leave WAPA on the battlefield. Confusion might have no loyalty to those who fight with him, but tW most certianly does, a Warrior does not and [u]will not[/u] leave a comrade on the battlefield. The fall in statistics is not at all indicative of a win on your part, in fact, when you exclude the people who have recently found way to your AA, you've done just slightly better then keeping pace. Furthermore, I'd like to make this clear to Confusion. You are not the only one with cards up your sleeves. We still have cards to play should we choose to play them. When you behave like a child, as you consistently have, it certainly becomes enticing to play any and every !@#$@#$ card I need to hammer a little humility into your smug ass.

I have had some of those myself, in that I've been unable to commit to consistently being on at update, and how I got a late start to the round. Furthermore, I haven't had decent trades, and for some reason or another haven't really had my heart in my nation. Not exactly a characteristic round, but if your insistent upon challenging my understandings of wars, I could allude to another realm where my casualties outnumber yours 5 to 1, but thats not exactly relevant here.
