1.
Formation of MJ goal: beat up SF Post goal: Uh, well... what do we do? I dunno. Disband? Yep.
If one has met and accomplished ones goals, whats the purpose of holding on just for the sake of holding on, vainly trying to rekindle the original fire of its intended focus? Better to go out on top, mission accomplished, and open up the way for the future to enter without carrying the baggage of the past. O/ MJ
  2. Well fok me.....this is interesting to say the least.
  3.
But that's not what we are talking about. We are talking about ability We have the capacity just no desire.
You just killed your entire argument, to fight one needs heart, to have heart one needs passion, to have passion one needs desire of which you have admitted to having none of... IE:You can be the best 'prepared' or 'stocked' or whatever the hell you want to call it but without any desire or drive you arent any better then a fire hydrant that sits around at the ready to fight fires slowly rusting from disuse as all the dogs pass and piss on you.
  4.
(The joke is that they didn't get any).
Im sure Polaris and its fine spongy leader would have eventually extended the lenient terms they wanted \m/ to take, and turn GOONS into an eternal tech green acres. I mean cmon they werent/arent heartless and cold two faced lying !@#$%^&* like you think.....they are kind and moral and forgiving just like they have always preached right?.....RIGHT?!?!?? This looks to be turning into about the same sort of classy situation, I hope all parties here get things untangled
  5.
Ragnarok: 2 Valhalla: 2
bwahahahaha I swear to god the amount of butthurt you express with every post literally brings a smile to my face when I see any of your posts......One day you will grow up and put on big boy pants and realize its nice not being a petulant child for all to see
  6.
If Valhalla actually managed to ream MK 1v1 I'd give you guys all the credit due. But I don't see that happening. I'm sure within the next year it takes for a major war to show up, you guys will already have forgotten what experience you got out of this, and be whining about how you're rusty, have new players with no war experience, and RL issues getting in the way.
Someone has to whine counterpoint to your and MK's constant stream of it, makes more harmony.
  7.
Why are you in IRON and not Sparta? or one of these other alliances
My guess is he has thoughts of trying to influence IRON from the inside.
  8.
CIS couldn't move aid internally, because there was no longer any CIS. The alliance had disbanded at the beginning of the war and the members had to individually surrender under the terms that they couldn't join or form an alliance for 3 months. There was no CIS to rebuild. Hampering an alliance through surrender terms is dependent on the degree. I'm not sure how you can argue there is no middle ground, Chefjoe. If I were to demand 40k tech from the Dark Templar's upper tier nations, it will harm them more than imposing an outside aid clause. Or how's this? Let's say the 2 weeks no aid at all clause used in PB-NpO was imposed on someone else for 3 months, it would surely set them back a lot more.
Im not arguing that there are certainly ways to hamper an alliances growth further or more harmfully then what we have already mentioned(Aid restrictions), of course there are. Also, saying that just because CIS did not have the desire or where withal to move tech internally makes those terms any worse is baloney, the 90 day restriction on a very active alliance like Valhalla whom could have moved a !@#$ton of aid into and out of that 90 period is far more harsh then imposing 90 days on someone far less active or driven and ready to disband anyhow.
  9. Grudges run Planet Bob and its peoples with an Iron fist. Previous wars have all been fought for/because of them, this war is being fought because of them, the next war(MJ from what I hear) will be over w/e grudges came from this war and the period leading upto it. Its the way it always has been and way it will always be, unless those in power and whom have been here for any length of time decide to drop old feelings and slights. Which we all know is damn near impossible unless its for the expediency of settling an even bigger grudge.
  10.
Um, you could still move aid internally. You do realize most people wanted Echelon or NPO style reps imposed on you right? And that Archon said you got a slap on the wrist? And I put forward enderland's post. I guess pushing all of Valhalla into tech selling range is more the equivalent of what I was talking about.
I was not replying to anyone else Roq. I was replying directly to you're expression of distaste in regards to the 90 days of setback CIS incurred in those terms(They could also move aid internally) and you're participation in doing the same thing to someone else. Now you are using comments and feelings of others to justify your own hypocrisy, which is just sad imo, so either what NPO(and in turn yourself)did by hampering an alliances rebuilding thru surrender terms is wrong or you are being a hypocrite. I really see no middle ground there.
  11. Starting the NoCB war by finding some aid sent to Chickenzilla and spinning it into something horrible and war worthy, plus some other stuff but the above is easiest to point to --As an aside, the only reason for NoCB was so GGA could jump in the war off the bat. Valhalla was already going to be hitting polaris etc thru the TOP and co CB but Ironchef wore me out begging to be included in the initial war DoW's and this is what we came up with in order to make it so and the rest of the 'heg' thought it lulzy for the most part and gave it the green light to continue. In hindsight it was really really lame and done without much forethought for the future consequences of those actions but at the time we were all riding high in Q and could feel no pain.
  12.
The CIS thing where the former members had to be PoWs for months was pretty bad too. http://forums.cybernations.net/index.php?showtopic=31551 That is 3 months of not really being able to do anything.
No different then the 90 days aid restriction and other terms you imposed upon Valhalla so quit talking out your neck about how you feel about such 'horrible' things. Hypocrit >_>
  13.
Its my opinions, I (and other members of my alliance) actually respect Valhalla as a war fighting alliance. I don't think you'll find a single GOD member denying our defeat at your hands, either. We simply expected more from you and yours, and thats it. It wasn't a personal attack on your alliance. Just a remark that we expected more from your warchests because you did sit out last war with the rest of duckroll, given that you had since bipolar to save for this war.
Thanks for clarifying, and yea we did sit out the last war as stated and have been beating the WC hammer for yrs(TBH I think we were one of the first alliances to start requiring large individual warchests back in the day do to our constant being in one war or another and finding it frustrating and inefficient to keep setting up large aid falls) and specifically made a point of making a silver lining out of sitting out the last war with the increase(most cases anyhow) of our avg long term member nations WC's. Imagine what it would have looked like without such attention to that subject and orders/requirements/harassing in regards to it.....bottom line is fighting thru the years in many many wars and battles takes it toll and I personally felt we did a very good job with the cards we have/had been dealt in this war and thru our past wars and their resource mgt. Apologies if I jumped down your throat a bit but its a touchy subject as it is a very large part of our culture and regime(war preparedness that is) and felt you were being a bit biased in your comment when I had posted previously.
  14.
And your WCs outstripped the average Val member as well.
I have seen this from a couple GOD members and its rediculous, first off if ours WC's were less then others they still far outstripped the Avg GOD member....FAR outstretched. We have fought in every war besides the last war(so 1 of 13 or so including 2 dogpile rollings) which also FAR outstripps GOD's war outings. So basicly we have had to spend far far more money on rebuilding in the past years then many many alliances out there(Our own money without help in some instances becuase of certain things like no outside aid clauses etc etc ). So we did the best we could with our WCs for the one period of peace we had that others did not and came into this war as prepared as possible. So yes our WC's are less then folks whom have fought far less then us, big whoop. Whats is GOD's excuse? You havent mixed it up as many times as we have over the years or been rolled(until now) yet your WC's were/are still crap. Anyhow spout all the personal bias against us you would like, still ends up with us haven beaten you this time.
  15. Join !@#$%* alliances and you get !@#$%* results /me shrugs
  16.
One side did hold out to get the terms they wanted in this war. It wasn't yours. You didn't even hold out for the ones you originally offered.
You are incorrect in your assumption in regards to Valhalla Xiphosis. Trust me when I say our vote was to continue the war indefinitely until the first set of very reasonable terms were met by yourselves. Others in MJ felt otherwise and here we are.
  17. Well I guess our nukes are not only killing your infra and tech, but it is also killing your brain cells, and by the looks of this thread and its content your IQ must be nearing ZI.
  18.
That said, if you actually look back over the Mjolnir formation thread we were pretty civil to them until they started threatening us.
If we are getting our facts straight here then you will have to change the above to 'The thread was civil for about 1 pg until one of SF .gov threw around the first threat, our sides posts were the typical mindless hails those threads generate until the trolls(SF in this case) hit it and threw garbage around.
  19.
Lots of words saying nothing
So basically you wont take my bet and were wrong. You said allies and I just wagered you no ally of ours would attack us in that time frame(or any other). Will an ally of theirs attack us? Maybe, but that is an entirely different concept then what you original tried to propose, and were wrong in. The ally of my ally is not my ally so it is entirely feasible they could at some point be in conflict with us but once again they arent our allies and all your BS about getting stabbed in the back is just that, BS. Here is a clue dude, we expect to be attacked, we spend much time talking about whom it may be and from what direction it may come and if in the end someone totally surprises us and hits out of nowhere??? !@#$@#$ AWESOME!!! Becuase that means something unexpected has occured and on planet bob that is very very rare and something to be enjoyed. Please continue your doom and gloom speeches though, I do enjoying a good rant
  20.
When you're getting your rears kicked in by your allies over summer break (maybe even spring break), let me know.
Ill wager you tech right now that none of Valhalla's current and direct allies will be attacking us during your above mentioned time frame.... Easiest tech ill make this year.
  21.
Tough talk, considering the odds you're fighting at. My Valhalla opponents have all been quite classy to me this war - even the ones who seemed less than practiced at fighting. Makes me wonder why in the hell they have you for a leader.
It isnt classy to respond to someone trying to incorrectly shmear ones alliance? I guess then you and I have the same amount of class as im staring at your response to my response to someone elses response regarding a comment on Valhalla......yeaaa pot and kettle something something also... Edit- this will make your day though, I retired as leader months ago sport

    The End ?

Best of luck RL, do come back if the notion grabs ya....never a happy day to see an old time player leave the gamefield
  23.
I recommend all NpO allies peace out and cancel.
That would require thought beyond blind loyalty and macho stubborn-ism(?)....not traits the folk you are trying to get thru to seem to possess much of one can hope though....
