    Just in case someone lumps NpO in with this hate on NPO, I'd like to say that some new orders are different. My new order, Polar, helps people out now, really doesn't have the same hegemonic imperial focus as these other new orders. #NotAllNewOrders

    Yeah, \m/ is up there in greatness with other great things such as Blockbuster, Circuit City, the Walkman, and the actual floppy disc. Doch is just oblivious to its greatness, probably because he hasn't been reminded of \m/'s greatness for many years.

    I've been telling some folks for a while that this is the only sensible response to a DBDC raid. This way they get nothing from you, and when you nuke them, they lose stuff, so it will always result in a net loss for them, larger probably than if you fought back.

    Starfox is right, Lord Hitchcock is terrible at this: By your and Zog's logic, DBDC had already declared an all out war on us when they raided us, right? Yeah, we honor treaty obligations, big whoop, wanna fight about it? Let's assume for a second that we had to chose between backing our allies (which we are doing 100% right now) and the tech blockade, like they are mutually exclusive. Do you honestly think we would damn our allies? That's really ignorant. Yeah, Tywin never said Polar is winning. He said enemy morale is low, which may or may not be true, I'm not a fly on your walls. Tell me more about how you like to make stuff up that is never said and act like it was.

    Realistically I do not know, as I only fight wars with individual nations, and none in Atlas. I can safely say that, on average, the worst "Alliance" that I have fought is either TLR or R&R, but I wouldn't dare feel safe enough in assessing an entire alliance's skill on my 2 wars with each, they probably aren't representative. This is why some of these awards are just dumb, and the political ones in the group should not make nominations for some of these awards.

    I would disagree--the OP had no distinction in characteristics, nor was one implied other than the age of the alliance to set it apart from the other alliances. You are adding words and criteria that were not there to the OP. I suppose one could use their own subjective criteria, in which case you would be right. However, I will not indulge that idea, because that would mean all these awards are meaningless, and I simply refuse to believe these awards have no meaning...:-P
