  1. It is nice seeing friends making new friends. o/ Union of Communist Republics o/ Protectorate of Sovereign Socialist Ententes
  2. As much as I dislike disagreeing with Admin... The drop down list contains the top forty eight alliances - minus any alliance of less than twenty members. ( edit - 48 instead of 50 - counting is hard sometimes ).

5,593 almost time for the paddles.
  4. No. It happened to Old Guard when the system was first put into play. We thought it was ridiculous to implement it in the first place without any real warning or instructions - even to this day there are questions as to what happens when it goes wrong. Bad plan + bad implementation gives bad results.

5717 I guess that twenty to thirty new players join everyday. Remarkable actually.
  6. Is over. I stopped posting to the OWF ( and specifically to the suggestion forum ) because it was frustrating. Between abuse by the unmentionables and neglect by admin, exasperated by the tease of promise of moving things forward made it a complete waste of effort. And this thread is a perfect example of why the main OWF is a toilet. The same attention whores posting about themselves over and over again. Turds circling the bowl. I don't know why the game died but I cannot imagine what the OWF turned into is doing anything positive. Logging back out.
  7. Is simple. Not allies with Sengoku means open target. You can put all the blah blah blah around it you want, imagine all sorts of intents and manifestations, infer vicious threats abounding, yet it is simple. Sengoku is the current wee bully with the big friends. It will change eventually, as these things often do, but until then, enjoy the ride.
  8. Without a doubt. When I think of Planet Bob politics, I think of LPH.
  9. I have no idea what is going on here but I must applaud theproper use of flags in a DoW. Carry on.
  10. There is a tradition of fine announcements from SRA ( and the variants that follow ) and this one continues in that vein. It is a shame that such a well crafted missive has been spoiled by such childish wankings. May you find the joy that deserves you along the way.
  11. Ancient history but the cancellation was mostly a symbolic one - seeing as most if not all of those alliance jumped into the war. Old Guard hit Greenland Republic the next day in defense of NPO....and ended up taking the brunt of OBR's might in GR's defense. If I recall, TPF declared on Avalanche earlier in the day. IRON hit RoK and I'm pretty sure MXCA and GGA declared same day or the next. It is easy to cherry pick something from 6 years ago and take it out of context.
  12. If you think calling you rude is persistent hostile aggression then I feel very very sorry for you. Have a pleasant day. Actually, the community at large really isn't demanding much of anything. Most folks are blithely unaware of the tech shennanigans.
  13. Seems rather rude of you. Don't trust him, don't buy his tech. Simple.
  14. Perhaps it is because the two events happened nearly simultaneously ( very tough to do with a standard browser - kudos to Avinoam for such fine tolerances ).
  15. Which apparently doesn't save old data ( or it didn't for a long while ). If I understood things properly, when things are 'deleted' they are actually deleted, and not flagged as hidden or archived. Without the data dumps none of the old data can be recreated.
  16. Very nice schtuff... However, would it be possible to get a view of damage dealt compared to forum posts made? backs slowly out of this thread....
  17. I rarely do this but we put the O and G in OG and I would thank you for staying off of my lawn. ...now where did I put my cane and ointment... And you gotta give props to anyone who rushes into a curbstomp on principle Minc. Word.
  18. Only seven alliances versus one? Smart holding back a couple of alliances - you never know with the 10+ to 1 advantage when you will require that backup.
  19. Not only has the horse already run out the barn but it raised a family and retired somewhere warm. However, it certainly is a step in a direction.
