  1. The nation may have once been in the top 5% and accrued those nukes then. AFAIK you don't lose the nukes when you leave the top 5%, just the ability to purchase more.
  2. Listen not to plaintive mewings The oh so subtle pursuings Is a time you know When you have to go And leave behind all these doings Happy trails jerdge.
  3. Perhaps the warchest was not $4B. I would find it difficult to believe anyone was able to pull off a successful spy op.
  4. Very nice of you to open a nation building thread. Perhaps you would be best suited for one of the micro wee nation AAs that seems to pop up with regularity that might benefit from your abilities to open nation building threads.

    The dragon is dead!

    Very glad to hear it.
  6. So the claim to fame is "we don't suck as much as generalchow"? Very low bar you have set there. ( and yes you are barbaric raiders. Beano does this same act over and over again - I am horribly out of the loop and even I know his particular song and dance routine. Raid, act surprised, pretend to politic, complain, get angry and act justified. Rinse repeat. )
  7. At my age any spinning sensation has me reaching for the nitroglycerin.
  8. Wow. That is some titan class spin. I am impressed. I'll wager it took several minutes for the dizziness to pass after writing that.
  9. What are you saying...those SWF nations were prancing around wearing raid me shoes?
  10. There is no difference. It is a declare war button.
  11. Here is what folks don't understand. If your alliance attacks another alliance there are no uninvolved nations. You hit my alliance or one of my friends you just opened up every nation in your alliance for retaliation. Raiding alliances don't get some special nerf protection - you hang out with folks who will get you attacked you cannot be surprised when it happens. If you randomly declare war on folks you putting your alliance mates at risk.
  12. I really like beer, but all the cans are too small for me to drink.
  13. Sure it was, your alliance declared wars on their alliance - pretty much the definition of a war.
  14. Your charter means something to the members that signed it. It means bupkiss to folks who didn't. If you allow your members to raid occasionally some alliance is gonna fight back according to their way of doing things. You happened to raid an alliance that fights back.
  15. You kids are making me feel old.

    The 'C' word

Be well. Get involved with some support groups - lots of tips and tricks for dealing with the treatments. Laugh when you can.
  17. You do realize there is no winning or losing in this game?
  18. Perhaps but that would keep extending the 3 day clock. In practice this function has no influence upon gameplay and hasn't for all the years it has been used. One could certainly offer up suggestions on how to modify the governmental system to encompass all the differing states and effects of anarchy, but it isn't a bug. I would wager some folks would even call it a feature.
  19. I'm not saying anything about changes, we are talking about bugs. Is it a bug? No. Should it be changed? That would make for an interesting discussion.
  20. It is a long standing well known feature of the system ( we have it in our notes from several years ago), and it has always been that way, therefore it is not a bug. While it has certain advantages it has certain disadvantages as well. Having no soldiers does convey economic penalties when collecting.
