I'm not entirely sure it matters much. In the event that NPO and MK find themselves on opposite sides in a war (whether it involves NPO directly or its allies), giving NPO a "valid CB" will be of little concern to MK, especially if they have gotten to the point that they feel a nuke first strike is necessary. If on the other hand MK and NPO are on the same side in a future conflict, they will have probably worked out the when/where of nuclear weapons use in advance and NPO will naturally trash the CB.

There are currently 29,433 nations on Planet Bob. The top 200 alliances account for 20,874 of that total. There is still space out there to go have fun. Go have it. Hell, if you can organize some of those in that space and make an alliance worth something, you can still aspire to greatness. That is pretty much the way it has always been, NPO or no NPO. Stop whining, do something.

Beyond that, you have continually posted in said "utterly pointless thread" not once or twice, but numerous times thereby increasing the time it spends at the top of the AA and therefore ensuring more people will see it and adding to the drama. I'm sure your alliance is proud of you. Paranoid and edgy? Some of the major players perhaps. The smaller alliances are pretty much getting on with life. Planet Bob has always been schizophrenic that way. As for the fun...I guess it depends on whether or not you enjoy Poker.

When the idea of this "game show" was pitched to me, my reaction was, "meh...whatever, doesn't bother me but doesn't thrill me either." Looking back on it, I think it was something RAD thought would be entertaining, and clearly there are a significant number of people who were offended by it. The old adage, "any publicity is good publicity" clear was not in play. I believe RAD learned from the experience and are now moving on. To expect them to make an announcement that they had decided that tech raiding is a bad idea and they are banning it however is silly, not that I am suggesting you feel that way, but I'm confident there are people here who expect it in order to justify their "water walking" on this subject and would be dancing up a jig of self righteousness after wards.

Given the large number of "tech raiding" alliances that NPO has called "friend" over the years, including alliances that currently permit "violating a random unaligned nations sovereignty by tech raiding" per their own charters, perhaps you should move along before you embarrass yourself further.

It was especially funny when some months later they really did get into a gun fight with tC, got chewed up and forced to pay reps. I'm still laughing at how funny that was. The incident in and of itself was a "Punk'd" classic, but in light of what followed, not so much. EDIT: grammar is our friend
