  1. Because you feel lucky. It's the fur. Makes him hot and bothered. Tough question. Some say we started off as the Riders of Kawasaki (RoK), a motorcycle community for riders and enthusiasts who enjoy camaraderie and the sport of motorcycling. Others insist that it's because so many of us are from the Republic of Korea (ROK). I would say however it's because Ragnarok, rocks. Stay tuned.
  2. Wasn't the happiest day of my life. Indeed, early on I was actually pleading his case. But the evidence was pretty clear and there was nothing else to be done. I don't hand over people easily...you should know that by now.
  3. Sure as long as there isn't "excessive baggage". On my short list of the most honorable alliances in the game. Come by and see us some time. We need to talk.
  4. [07:57] <MariMassa> He knows what he is doing. [07:57] <Hoo[ZZZzzzZZZzzzZZZ]> Well, that makes it easier then ... lol [07:57] <MariMassa> Besides, a war screen with 3 active wars from NPO against Kaiser Martens should give him a clue, don't you think? [07:58] <Hoo[ZZZzzzZZZzzzZZZ]> What information did you receive? [07:58] <MariMassa> It seems that Uberstein and Martens are RL friends [07:58] <MariMassa> One min [07:59] <MariMassa> "He blatantly stated(the RoK guy) that he didn't care about his nation, Martens even warned him the consequences." [08:00] <Hoo[ZZZzzzZZZzzzZZZ]> Jeez [08:00] <MariMassa> This came from our source. [08:00] <MariMassa> in a conversation they all had together. [08:00] <MariMassa> Martens, Uberstein and our guy. [08:00] <Hoo[ZZZzzzZZZzzzZZZ]> Ok [08:00] <MariMassa> it happened on MSN as they are RL friends. Does that clarify things for you now?
  5. Your friend was on a EZI list...and it was explained to you.
  6. True, the attack date is scheduled for July 2, 2009 and involves the consumption of alcohol and the theft of my Chicken Taco Rice recipe. We've turned the corner in a lot of respects, not the least of which is the wonderful job our recruiting people have been doing as of late. I think I've gotten my new leather chair broken in but indeed...and its a bit embarrassing...I find the fridge raided late at night, a couple of my Sam Adams missing and incriminating Hoo marks and gerbil prints in the butter.
  7. A form of currency. 1 Xeny = 1 Dollar = 1 Dong = 1 Pound
  8. Ya'll realize that it's possible that someone actually took mercy on the members of GDI, right?
  9. I will officially confirm that all those flying the QAR AA are protected by Rok and welcomed to join us. Anyone raiding the QAR AA will find they lack infrastructure in short order. Also, on a personal note to Craig, sometimes you do everything right and it just doesn't catch fire. Learn from this experience and move forward.
  10. Congrats to the new government. Ragnarok looks forward to working with them. +1 for Aerosmith reference
  11. It is my understanding that the terms lasted so long simply because the parties involved had pretty much forgotten about them: File it under "clerical error", not "keeping the schmucks down." I'm glad this piece of history is now truly history. It is the official policy of Ragnarok to support our allies..ALL our allies and abide by treaties. It is also official Ragnarok policy to remind members that if they have nothing nice to say to our allies regarding this matter, they will remain silent. That is not a suggestion. The 'Woodstock Massacre' is a very sore subject to a fair number of Rok's members because they are former GPA and left in the post-war era. Many of them stood by their guns and defended GPA long after their government collapsed internally, long after many cowards had fled to Peace Mode or ran away from the alliance screaming "don't shoot!" Those that stood their ground and defended GPA were heroes in a very real sense of the word. They did what they could to save their alliance under absolutely horrible circumstances and I salute them for their gallant efforts in the face of overwhelming odds. I was, among other things at Browncoats, the ambassador to GPA. I pushed my government to sign the DoN and was genuinely friendly to those at GPA for some time and defended GPA in the OWF against its critics. When it became apparent to me that GPA's government had become a stagnant joke because of the failings of a few key people, I added my voice to those calling for change. When the change I saw amounted to a revolving door on the leadership of GPA, I pulled Browncoat's signature on the DoN with much regret, and had hopes that the 'Woodstock Massacre' would bring about much needed change at GPA. I can say now that change has taken place and it has been noticed around Planet Bob. I wish GPA well now and for its future. EDIT: grammar FTW
  12. Congrats to our allies at NpO specifically and to both parties generally.
  13. Successful spy attacks that aren't caught wouldn't appear on this report.
  14. You mean what it seems to mean, what R_V tells us it means, what their super secret OcUK spies in Rok (all tracked down by IP btw) say it means, or would you rather listen to Doitzel explain its implications and why Moo sucks in a 5 paragraph theme? I fancy letting RIA explain it when they are ready, personally.
  15. I was very pleased we could get this done. I've been hanging out in the LEN IRC chan for a while now getting to know the members of LEN and I'm very glad I did. o/ Rok o/ LEN
  16. I know that moving to Black had been discussed and that ultimately the idea was allowed to rot on the vine. There was no plan to move to Black. Even if there was a promise of free pizza and Bacardi, it was a *very high* risk maneuver with a high probability of exposure by those within Browncoats who would have nothing of it because it totally went against their sense of duty and honor, let alone those in BDC who would have found the whole idea beyond unethical. Everything that followed was predictable. And now that you bring up Holloweyes, it's a shame he doesn't read the OWF on a regular basis because I'm fairly certain he'd have more than a few words for you. Some of them may even come out as something other than gibberish characters covering bad words.
  17. Then let's add to your embarrassment. In the days leading up to the Bubblegum War, I warned Schattenman and Durim (who was also in the IRC channel at the time) that they should stick to their treaties and honor them. It would mean that Browncoats would get bloodied but it was the honorable thing to do and since BC wasn't the primary target and merely honoring treaties, I counseled, they would likely get off comparatively light in the end. Instead, Schattenman chose "preventing a massive war involving Black Team" (his words) over his alliance and condemned it to death. He did so without sanction from anyone else in Browncoats. I had also warned him previously that choosing loyalty to Black Team over loyalty to Browncoats would end up being the death of him--some would argue that being in Vox is like being dead, but I digress. Were it not for the fact that I had left Browncoats in search of the quiet life in a larger alliance among friends (RL is a harsh mistress), then I would have been there with Holloweyes and the rest of Browncoats and met my fate, leading the charge against those that opposed our allies. That things turned out much differently is both something I'm thankful for and also have a touch a regret about. Browncoats didn't deserve what happened to them. They had their failings as an alliance, but go down as they did. Sad.
  18. You make a few critical errors here OBM in your reply. Sponge is someone who merits no respect, and is irrelevant to the cyberverse. If people such as yourself insist on holding him up as someone who merits anything more than commentary on how to lose anything, then they are giving him FAR too much credit. Far more than being a mere an insensitive buffoon "at times", he even now engages in completely unethical behavior for his own agenda. As for his accomplishments, those belong to the present and former members of Polaris, to "the Orders" of history, and to all those in the Initiative that became dominant after GW III and provided a climate in which NpO could thrive so long as its leadership didn't make major missteps. Sponge through hard work and dedication made the very missteps that led to his downfall and lined up Polaris in the shooting gallery. It's like this...Sponge with the guns of thousands nations behind him merits fear. You would love to tell him to his face what you think but you must mute your comments and pretend to like him. Perhaps you even grudgingly respect his position of power and the fact he was "around when...". Sponge without all the guns and the title is a conniving has-been who wants to re-write history so that he comes out ahead in the end and he can resume some throne of power or other. I see through the b.s. and always have.
  19. Is that the equivalent of saying, "hey watch this!"? Good luck to ARN and to the regular members of GDI...you are going to need it.
