  1. We aren't focusing on growth just yet, you !@#$%*. In case you haven't noticed, we don't have an additional 31 members of useless statistics.
  2. Well ladies and gentlemen...it's been awhile since I've taken up an alliance-related announcement on the public boards. Ever since the GDI-VE War, the main goals of me and my teammates have been to keep low, rebuild, and make plans on our future. For the past 51 days now, that's what we've been chipping away at...slowly and gradually, but surely none the less. We've reorganized with new IRC channels, forums, allies, and so forth, but for the most part we've been rather quiet, but sharp to respond if provoked in any way. Our first big leap came along in foreign affairs when I poked around a bit to discuss the possibility of a protectorate pact for TFA. I eventually found my way to the New Sith Order, and after some ice-breaking discussions, found out that to my amazement NSO was glad to consider a protectorate agreement with our alliance. And so, with a few days of going back and forth with different requirements and input, we finally came together with a treaty, which'll be posted following the posting of this DoE. In light of such an event, I believe that we have gained enough security, stability, and a forward base to declare our alliance as official. But what lies in the future for us? Frankly, I can't be sure about that. I have a few plans, some requiring certain events to happen which may or may not occur. Others will require those events to happen in the first place, and some will require a fair bit of luck. Some of us may have been shaken a bit, but frankly I don't see us nor myself retiring in the near future, unlike what I had expected. Henceforth, may it be known that on this day of October the 9'th, 2009 that the nations united together under the alliance affiliation of Task Force Alpha are hereby proclaimed and established as a formal coalition of nations in the Cyberverse.
  3. I've already talked to Invicta/Psychobilly and etc on the matter. For the most part, they beat me to it when it came to making contact.
  4. I'd attack them if I could. Too small. Best of luck Vilien.
  5. As some of you may know, we have recently been encountering some ghosting problems over the past little while. Just today, we stumbled across 2 more nations that appear to be multies of "Control Master", and an affirmation that "Emperal Warchest" is perhaps another multi of his. In the event of one or two screw-ups, we normally wouldn't issue such a dispatch. However, in light of recent events I see it as fit to clarify on who TFA's real members are and who the alliance's multi-puppeted ghosts may be: Confirmed Members of TFA - Safe for Tech Deals and Alliance Relations RyanGDI AllenKalashnikov karldonitz Technician1578 zztophat Emperor of ElNoor Dat23 Suspected Multies/Ghosts - UNSAFE for Tech Deals/Alliance Affairs Reich Arsonal Controll Master Utopia (the TFID on this nation is fake) Emperal Warchest Proof if needed: http://s1.zetaboards.com/Task_Force_Alpha/forum/1113143/ - Inspect their nations for obvious similarities as well. Why these multi-nations have been made is beyond us at the moment, but we're working on figuring things out. For the interim...I won't be pointing fingers, but I thank you for bearing with what seems to be an attack of sorts on our alliance's image and composure. Sincerely, RyanGDI - Head of Task Force Alpha
  6. Indeed. Although most may say that this move is un-necessary, I'll be assisting Carthage in their goal to disable EW for various reasons: - Carthage is losing a large amount of funds in these battles - I can gain those much-needed funds and use them to grow - Regardless of what happens, I'm never one for holding grudges - EW's pissed me off for the "troubles" he's caused - I've got extra improvements and the like, so easier for me than it is for them - AUT was straight-up over IRC in saying that TFA was not to be attacked - And frankly, I need to get to 1 mil casualties. (Possibly a few other reasons I may not have come up with at the moment, but you get the idea. ) No, I don't believe that it's the ghosted alliance's responsibility to stop their ghosts. I do, however, believe that a good deed should be done whenever one can be done.
  7. So here, allow me to tl;dr what you think is right here. Our logistics and firepower are spread thin enough as it is. Someone ghosts our alliance affiliation, scams aid and attacks people. You get upset (amongst others), and I follow standard procedures for ghosts (basically a "Hello, either apply to join our alliance (in which we'd require that the nation peaces out of their wars at once, which I had "Control Master" originally do FYI, followed by an explanation over IRC as to what he did wrong) or leave our AA" notice, followed by a warning should he/she ignore the first message, then war if that's ignored). After the final warning, he leaves our AA for "The Independent Alliance". He then goes to ghost our AA yet again and continue on his normal ways. Now, you're threatening us with war just because the guy happens to like our alliance affiliation...which would also decrease our effectiveness to "deal with ghosts", hence contradicting your overall goal here. Now, ask yourself this: would you do this to a major-league alliance? Would you stomp out onto public forums, threatening and demanding that the nation be attacked, or the entire alliance will be harmed? Oh wait...you wouldn't, because you'd get swept away overnight, and the other side wouldn't really care for you due to your lack of respect and outright negligence of diplomacy*. Just take a look at what people are saying AUT. You're doin' it wrong. * - Just to give you an idea, I didn't even know this thread existed until Ferrando pointed it out to me over IRC awhile after it was posted.
  8. Here. A quick solution to shoot down your drama Ilama here: PM sent to EW, told to leave alliance. However, don't ask me to defy game rules. There, have a nice day AUT. (PS: As for "Control Master" - http://s1.zetaboards.com/Task_Force_Alpha/.../2346656/1/#new. 'Nuff said.)
  9. IRC's #TFA, and our forums are over here: http://s1.zetaboards.com/Task_Force_Alpha/index/ But no, we haven't DoE'd at the time. We're planning to sooner or later, when the time's right.
  10. That's indeed what I meant, mate. Wiser, but still on the same fundamentals of doing what I think is right, regardless of what the random, un-involved blokes think.
  11. I'm me. Some people think that I've changed, or at least they say they see differences anyways. But at the heart of it, I'm still doing things the way they 'ought to be done, without regards towards what the general public thinks. (Required here) (tl;dr - I've retained most of myself, but gained some wisdom along the way.)
  12. I lol'd. Gawd, this thread can be put like this: . 'Nuff said.
  13. Yes, it's been awhile. Rest assured that we have more than just this treaty in the works. As for the treaty at hand, I am proud to stand by one of my ex-government members in unity and mutual friendship. Perhaps we didn't meet eye-to-eye on things, but times change.
  14. Oh god no. Edit: Good luck anyways. I have a feeling you may need it.
