1. Once upon a time, yes. I don't hold that kind of power anymore.
 2. Oh, hey my name is on this treaty. Late to the party, nice to see this go through. Looks like you all have been having fun without me though!
 3. Based on the amount of vitriol and degradation in this thread, it's a wonder newer players don't stick around longer.
 4. I said sad, not obsessed. I have plenty of friends down there looking for a few knocks. Thanks for your helpful suggestion, though!
 5. I don't see why someone is required to approve and "enjoy the show" if they don't like what's happening? Just because you're enjoying it (and you're totally entitled to do so, btw) doesn't mean that everyone has to. Why don't you shut up and let them react the way they want to to the situation. That being said I have no issues with what BF1 has done. If they want to rage-quit on us they won't be the first and certainly won't be the last. I am just sad they had no one in my range to tango.
 6. I would like to congratulate SirWilliam on his quick defense of our AA. What a trooper.
 7.
Hysterically inaccurate posting of Random's governance . He has survived attempt after attempt to besmirck his reputation. As is evident by this thread, you are in the minority in your opinion. o/ Emperor Rnadom o/ Emperor Dajobo
Now, now children. This is a happy place. Congratulations Rnadmo, and good luck D!
 8. 11/07/2007 - New Polar Order. Loved every minute, mostly.
 9.
If you're a member of NpO do your alliance a favor and stop posting in this thread. Let him wallow in his attention whoring by himself.
Essentially this. Shut up and let him stare in the mirror all he wants.
 10. It is rare that I find someone who likes to talk more than Grub.
 11. Hey cool, I can lurk with a Pip again.
 12.
I dont understand this thread anymore D:
Pretty much sums up my feelings on it.
 13.
IIRC, the one i remember was it was maroon vs NpO, and one of the NpOers used a spam bot because maroon "was too fast"
I organized that war, and I don't recall a bot ever being in the picture. Or perhaps I organized I rematch later. It all blends. Fun list, though .
 14.
GE GE GE....
Shut it, I was fat once upon a time.
 15. Big post!
and they will be right in doing so. I am pretty sure that from NpO's perspective, they are willing to bury the hatchet and start afresh with all alliances and TSO will be an exception
Only Random can answer that, though I have no real animosity towards you anymore and I suppose my opinion counts for something. In the beginning I had no use for TSO, and still have very little. I was no fan of Sam and company, but I have had little to no interaction with TSO for some time and it seems silly to hold grudges against those who had no part in anything. I, for one, buried all hatchets long ago.
Let's not forget NPO. NPO made several requests for government terms, some of which we granted. One of these was the demand that Grub be replaced by Griswalds, a term that Grub rejected and that the coalition did not push, but one which members of Polar nevertheless found very reprehensible. When your terms were up, you signed with NPO immediately. As for FARK, they made very clear that they would defend any ODP partner from any attacks they found unjustified. They certainly noted that the ODP upgrade was intended to protect Polar from TOP, IRON etc. Your claim that you never became especially close with them is not true. Too, whatever the case of the alliances whom you chose to hold a grudge against, you inexplicably condensed them down to TOP alone. Perhaps this was an at attempt self-delusion such that you wouldn't need to admit that you'd so pissed off the world that alliances from just about every other sphere in CN attacked you. Whatever. Double standards ftl. Like I said, we see constant warping of the truth by members of Polar (amongst others) for the purposes of their arguments. Given how transparent and obvious it is, I don't know why they bother.
The NPO treaty was the single most unpopular treaty in our existence. I handed in what amounted to a resignation after it, and only after deep deliberation decided to stick around so I wouldn't be responsible for some sort of mass exodus. But you are correct, that treaty was signed for whatever reason, and it really should not have been. I, for one, was wildly opposed to it. I think you're oversimplifying the TOP-Polar dynamic here Crymson. Yes, we had beef in the past. Pre Bi-Polar I had largely been able to put it in the past, and recall briefly working with you rather amicably and was just as appalled as anyone to see what happened that fateful day. I didn't leave Polar because this place is my home, and there is almost nothing in the world that could make me uproot myself from here. Bi Polar was a stab in the back, we had been working together to clear the air of distrust, and we $%&@ed everything when Bi Polar occurred. I had no idea it was coming, and to be honest, when I saw your reaction and your continued whining my sympathy for you afterwards was largely zilch. Am I sad that Grub did what he did that day? Absolutely. I never wanted to betray or $%&@ over anyone. I wish it hadn't happened. It has been the biggest headache I have ever had to deal with, especially because I had zero control over the situation. However, I stopped caring about TOP, and your infatuation with us, almost a year and a half ago because i knew there was nothing we could do to placate you until you had your pound of flesh. Now you've had it, and I hope we can both move on. I can speak for most of the world, I think, and say that we're all tired of this. I hope you're of the same opinion. I hold no ill will towards any of you for wanting (and getting) your shots in. I just want to finally move on.
Very untrue. Ask your leadership. They'll tell you.
Both governments extended olive branches. It was working for a while, but in the end it failed. I can say safely that it was almost exclusively our fault.
We prefer it that way. As friends, You never knew when NpO would screw you over. At least as enemies we know where we stand.
To be honest, Vandal. I don't think you've been "friends" with the Order for almost 5+ years now. What you knew then/now is completely different. I will never know how you, or anyone, can hold a grudge that long. I am happy to see peace in this whole thing, and am more than happy to "bury the hatchet". I hope that my Polars, as well as my allies are willing to do so too. I am tired of this dance, it's time for a new one, please.
 16. Got myself a couple million more in casualties this war, so it wasn't a total loss. Congratulations or your win, I am hoping we can all work past the Bi Polar thing going forward.
