1. BLEU rides once again. Good luck, overclockers. I don't have anything against GOONS but OcUK owns a soft spot in my heart.
2. Missing Polar-Valhalla MDoAP, Polar-AO MDoAP, Polar-Legion MDoAP, and Polar-USN MDoAP.
3. Dude, I have no idea what you're on about. Nothing has changed over here.
4. So allies didn't communicate correctly with each other on when they were exiting a massive global conflict? Why is that our issue? I mean I don't have all the details cause I'm busy as fuck doing other things but this seems backwards. The winning coalition offers terms and the other coalition accepts them as they will. Why is that suddenly the winning coalition's fault?
5. You're just lucky our senator deleted and I had to assume the mantle :(
6. I'm curious, how far back to the stats go? It has me as sending 253 million and zero tech, which is not accurate all time, but certainly could be accurate in the short-term.
7. Um, Karma was well after the WotC. Check your history. I have no idea why you're quoting Karma. I only mentioned it to say that NPO got their dues from the past there and I was fine with it. I will not agree the terms currently offered are ridiculous. They are far less that what we received in WotC and far less than what NPO recieved in Karma. The current terms are what? NPO's top 20 stay in PM for 4 months because they refused to come out for 2 months of war? Okay there you have it. 20 nations in PM not allowed to aid for 4 months. The terms are stringent, but only because NPO top nations refused to fight. They are still not worse than WotC terms. They are still not worse than Karma terms. *That* is my point. These are not that harsh. Either come out and fight, or deal with the consequences and quit bitching. That's it.
8. I know what you asked, but I deign not to answer. Negotiations are between leaders of alliances, not between you and I.
9. After the WotC the New Polar Order's top 30 nations were required to pay 75,000 technology in reparations and the top 40 nations of the New Polar Order were required not to send aid to our lower nations for 4 whole months. I don't have the data to measure the cost of the technology purchased (I was in the top 5 of Polar at the time and sent all of my technology and was forced to continue to purchase more and send it out), but I am sure it was rather large. In addition we were required to remove senior, respected members from government and the alliance itself. Hell they even attempted to plant a fucking spy as our Emperor. We were required to decommission all nuclear weapons except 50, to not run a senator, and no one was allowed to leave our AA for a month after the terms were set. Anyone who believes keeping the Pacific's top nations in PM since they decided they did not want to participate in the war are the harshest terms ever have clearly not been involved in this game long enough. My point is not that I want retribution against Pacifica. These terms were not negotiated by the Pacific, though I am sure they had a few requests thrown in. I was happy to settle that pound of flesh in Karma and I have since had little to no interaction with them. It has been rather refreshing after the constant shitshow from 06-08. My point is that you guys are freaking out about top nations not being able to send aid when, in a different era when most nations who were far LESS prepared to send aid and warchests were far smaller, terms were laid down which were much harsher. If you guys don't like the terms, it's really easy. Have your top tier come out of peace mode and fight a bit and we can all walk away. Assuming they haven't been dropping their collections on hookers and blow for the last 2 months I'm sure they have been able to pad their warchest a bit and should be able to rebuild and send aid like most top tier nations. But maybe I'm expecting too much from your banks. Either way, it's whatever. If you guys wish to keep fighting, by all means do it. Polar has certainly done it when we've found terms unacceptable, I just really find it laughable that they are being presented as the harshest terms in history. Read a fucking book.
10. These are not peace talks, so why don't you kindly shove off and let them man speak.
11. When will you stop posting topics on the OWF?
12. I just, can't even anymore. What the hell dude?
13. You may wish to go re-read the Generals screen. Terminating is used both in the help screen, and at the Generals screen. I don't think we're going to change the wording because you prefer the word decommission to termination.
14. Well, yeah. But wonders weren't the topic of discussion in the post I quoted so I didn't really mention them. Of course wonders are superior to generals, especially in regards to the bigger military ones, but the comment was about generals and whether or not they could be considered a massive advantage in Mogar's current range. Given that no one has sniped any of his generals to this point, it is likely not to be an issue for some time for him. Since it probably won't be an issue for a while, I expect Mogar will keep piling on XP and be able to purchase whatever general he would like once someone does build up enough moxie to take one of his current generals out.
15. If you have a top-level general facing off against a low-tier nation it is an incredibly massive advantage. Of course the damage you're doing isn't really that much in the large scheme of things (a couple million over the course of a war in that range?), it still means you're probably doing pretty well for yourself down there.
16. What in the world did I just read through and why on earth is it happening.
