Anyone going to put an over:under on how long they last this time? Judging by the start....not that long. It would be nice if one of these times /b/ actually trys to put some effort into it and try to be a respectable alliance again. Oh, and try to appoloize for previous actions.

For some reason I think I should be worried about a Tetris being played by Hauhi....... I could just be paranoid though. Congrats either way.

Instead of the usual “I’m # years old today!” I decided to do something different that will get laughs and make people face palm all at the same time I haven’t made any announcements for my nations age but today I will. Today I am 1337 days old! I’ve been here for what seems like ages at this point. I joined like many people did back then, after a friend told me to check this game out. I did that whole “rogue” thing for a few days then joined up with NAAC. This was the old NAAC to. Back when NPpO and NAAC were still going at each other’s throats and NPO and NpO were tied at the hip(and some say puppet). Back when Lue was around and before FARK had started to invade. GOONS were still huge and many alliances that are shells today were still major political players. I hung out in NAAC for a while then left to form the BTA with Voronov. We had a blast making the BTA and wanted to slam our faces into the desk countless times(anyone who has experience in government knows why). We got close to GATO and members of The League and eventually joined The League. We fought in GW2 alongside our friends and stood up for FARK when they had something like 15 members. At the end of GW3 I had to leave the BTA to allow its members to be able to survive, a decision that was hard but I would still do again if it meant that our members could survive. I joined GDA and then went and formed TAE who merged to make =WE= before they merged into FOB and I re-formed the BTA. I’ve been allied to both sides of the web and in the years I’ve been around the one thing I know is that a friend today is tomorrows enemy and vice versa. I was working hard to destroy the old Hegemony and now I’m allied to a few of them ( Hai Valhalla!) and I’ve seen old friends turn into bitter enemies. It’s the natural ebb and flow of politics in this world. It’s been a bumpy ride and one fun time. I would do some things differently but overall I stand by what I have done and said over the years. I could go on for hours on the things I’ve seen in this game and how back rooms would react to various announcements and going on’s in the world. So here we have another instance of PC raiding someone they shouldn’t raid. And once again they don’t care at all. It’s pretty clear that there were mistakes going on and they should offer some sort of reparations and work so this doesn’t happen again but, once again, they will keep their head in a certain place and not care. Since when is a Wiki the final determination for an alliances dealings? If that’s the case I’m going to go edit the BTA Wiki to say that people owe us 5k tech. Not everyone sits around all day making sure that a Wiki is updated every 30 seconds. PC should have noticed the Bios and asked Echelon if they were the protectors. That’s not that hard of a thing. I do it all the time if a smaller nation wants to raid a person but they have “Protected by XXXXX” in their bios, it’s not exactly constructing the Great Wall. Time for PC to “man up” to the fact that they screwed up and try to make things right for once. You can all bet your @#$% that if different alliances were involved then the moral outrage would be huge. If this were, say, IRON raiding a group of nations protected by, oh say, Sparta then everyone here would be calling for blood. It’s pretty easy to see the blatant hypocrisy going on here. What if Athens were the protector? MK? A simple change in the alliances would result in the moralist neo-hegemony demanding blood. If there is one constant in this entire thing it is that it doesn’t matter who’s in power. They will say that might makes right and will abuse their power. That’s the one constant on Bob that will never change.

I think this quite possible is one of the greatest events in the history of Bob. NPO is complaining about having to break their neutrality and GOD is doing exactly what NPO made GPA do. I had half expected GOD to pull some sort of stunt but the fact that it’s on NPO, for a move they once pulled, is just classic. It’s like the world has started to come full circle. Insert obligatory “NPO set the precedent years ago which makes it us ok to copy NPO.” I really can’t express with words how amusing I find this to be. GOD helps to take out the NPO and then comes right back and does exactly what NPO did. Its proving again how great Bob can be.

Surrender terms accepted then not accepted then who knows what. We can now all say for sure that this war has seen just about anything. All we need are some disbandments, insane surrender terms, and moral outrage. I suspect we will see 2 of the 3, and not the last one, I just listed as more surrenders happen to.

Maybe it’s you who are on the wrong side of the war It has been a long time since the BTA and R&R were on the same side of a war.
